The Beatles is an important band in the UK. There are four members (成员)in it. They are Paul, John, George and Ringo.

They set up(成立) the band in 1958.Paul can play the guitar very well. John is good at playing the piano. Ringo is a good drummer. He likes playing the drum. They love music . They are all super!

通过郎朗引出钢琴一词，给学生带来情感教育，并且通过介绍他拓展a good … player。最后结合甲壳虫乐队成员John，

训练… is good at…句型。

通过猜测同班同学会演奏什么乐器引出drum一词，并且结合the Beatles 成员Ringo，拓展

drummer 一词。

通过鼓的形状引出三角形的形状，并告诉学生triangle除了形状的意思之外还有三角铁的意思，有助学生记忆单词。并且通过同桌对话操练Do you have…?的句型，巩固新知。

教学设计说明

立足教材，适时提高

本课时书上的核心词汇有violin, piano, triangle, drum四个乐器，我新增了guitar这一词。并且通过介绍the Beatles甲壳虫乐队这一主线，对文本进行再构。围绕着What can you play?主要句型开展教学。我还拓展了… is good at…的句型。并且在介绍钢琴家，鼓手的时候，又拓展pianist, drummer 两词。又在自编辅助文本中加入了一些新单词，但通过让学生语境中做听力，做对话，配合图片等的辅助学生自然而然地也可以理解并简单运用这些词组及句子。在情感上，让学生从著名钢琴家郎朗身上看到，只要功夫深，勤学苦练，终有一天能有所建树。本课时中还不断插入the Beatles的歌曲声，让学生感受到音乐的美。

新旧叠加，反复重现

英语学习很重要的一点是要不断地巩固复习，并能把新旧结合，综合运用于生活。我在本节课中从旧知出发，在每一段文本中都以旧知来引出新知，在每一个新知的操练中也总是以旧知作为铺垫，相辅相成。知识的反复复现也是学好英语的关键。第一段文本分散穿插在单词教学中，由一篇听力，反过来归纳出：The Beatles is an important band in the UK. Paul, John, George and Ringo are the four members of it. Paul can play the_______ very well. John is _____ _____ playing the ________. Ringo is a good drummer. He likes ________ ______ ______. They love music . They are all ______! 第二段文本则是更深层次了解the Beatles的音乐成就。The Beatles often have music shows everywhere. They are popular (受欢迎的). Do you want to be a music man? You can join the music club at school, I think.从而联系到学生自己的生活实际，做到了学习的层递性。而在之后的对话练习中，小组表演中又把这个知识结构与生活联系进行了语境输出。做到了新旧知识层层递进，反复重现，加强巩固的作用。

情境交融，情感升华

本课时依照教材上知识点比较简单，情境比较单一。所以我选用了介绍乐队的方式，激起学生学习的积极性。介绍乐器时，结合声、形给学生更直观的印象。而在学习piano的过程中，通过看郎朗的视频，给学生一个较大的震撼，让他们感受到音乐家的勤学苦练，娴熟的演奏。在整个情境合理推进的同时，学生不知不觉的学习了新知识，又在对话和阅读中，把新旧知识综合地进行了运用。让学生在情境中体会感悟生活，在音乐，儿歌等的衬托下学习，运用英语。最后感受到音乐带给我们的快乐和美感。
