Teaching content: PEP Book4 Unit3 Part C Story time Teaching aims: 1、能运用本单元所学描述外貌特征的单词，并通过学习理解新句子：We’re coming!

Let’s work together. 2、能理解故事、朗读故事、表演故事，还能恰当运用故事中的语言。

3、通过故事学习，知道与人合作的重要性，以及朋友之间应该互帮互助。

Teaching focus: 能发挥自己的想象，运用本单元所学语言，续编故事。

Teaching difficulties: 1、理解故事中的新句子：We are coming! Let’s work together. (突破办法：通过老师动作表演、图片帮助学生理解。)

2、续编故事中现场生成的语言。（突破办法：预设一些情景，给出学生可能用到的词句，先带读。小组合作中，老师深入到各个小组了解学生情况，及时给予帮助。）

Teaching tools: PPT、动物头饰、萝卜卡片、5个篮筐

Pre-task: 1.

Sing a song. Tutu: Hello, I’m Tutu. Nice to meet you. I like singing. Do you want to sing with me? Enjoy the song “Friend”

How about your friend .? 3. Guessing game: Who is my friend? T: I’m so happy I have so many new friends today. I have an animal friend, too. She’s small and short. She has long ears and a short tail. She likes turnips very much .Who is she ? Ss: She’s a … . 4. Listen to the rabbit’s voice : Hello .I’m Tutu. Nice to meet you ! I like turnips very much. Teach the new word “turnip” with the picture , show the picture of big turnip and say : Tutu sees a big turnip. Can she pull it up? Teach “pull it up”. 5.T Introduces the assessment of this class: Tutu has a turnip field ,if you do a good job ,you can pull a turnip for your group .If your group get the most turnips ,your group will win. While task: 1.

Tutu, Monkey, Dog, Cat and Zip are coming .They work together. Teach “work together” Read and answer : Can they pull the turnip up? Why?

Listen to the second ,the third and the fourth scenes and try to imitate the scenes. 6.

Tutu has another friend . Read silently and quickly ,then answer: Who is he? What’s he like ? 7.

Read together and choose :

Act the story in groups , and ask the students imagine the end of

Create a new story: Tutu wants to carry the turnip home, what can you do for her? 12.

Show the new story in class.
