1.知识目标：

能够听、说、读、写本课的短语：see a doctor, do more exercise, wear warm clothes, take a deep breath, count to ten。

2. 能力目标：能根据各种事件和心理状态，用句型You should….对他人情绪提出合理建议。

3. 情感目标：能学会不以自我为中心，学会关心他人。

教学重点：1.能正确拼写本课的短语；2.能正确运用句型You should….。

教学难点：1.能正确朗读和拼写exercise。

2.能在具体语境中正确运用本课短语。

教学过程：

一、Warm-up 1）Greetings

2）Revision：Go over the old words: angry, afraid, sad, worried, happy

3）Free talk:

How do you feel? 二、Presentation and practise Step 1. Present the pictures of “Let’s learn”

T: Who are they?

Ss: They are Chen Jie, Wu Yifan, Mike and Oliver. T: What happened to they? Look at the pictures and discuss. Step 2. Learn the new phrases 1) Teach “see a doctor”

T：What’s wrong with Chen Jie?

Ss: She’s ill. T:

What should she do?

Ss: See a doctor. T:

Yes, she should see a doctor.

(Present the phrase “see a doctor” and teach) T: So, if I’m ill. What should I do? Ss: You should see a doctor.

2) Teach “do more exercise”

T: Look, Wu Yifan is having PE class now. He can’t run fast, he’s too heavy. What should he do? (Present the phrase “do more exercise”, learn and practice in “You should ….”) (Compare the reading and spelling: do morning exercises and do more exercise) 3) Teach “wear warm clothes”

T: Look, it’s snowy, it’s cold outside. Mike is going to go outside. What should he do? (Present the phrase “wear warm clothes” , learn and practice in the sentence) 4) Teach “take a deep breath” and “count to ten”

T: Oliver lost his new pen. He’s very angry. How does he feel? Ss: He’s angry. T: What should he do now? (Let the students to do “take a deep breath”

and “count to ten”

Step 3. Consolidation

1) Play card games : What suggestions can you give? 2) Fast reaction :

Eg: ----I’m ill. What should I do?

----You should see a doctor.

----Amy is worried. What should she do?

----Don’t be worried. She should take a deep breath and count to ten. 3) Group work : Fill in the blanks and talk about it Step4.Extension and homework 1. Listen, read and copy the four skilled phrases.

教学反思：

本课主要是学习短语：see a doctor, do more exercise, wear warm clothes, take a deep breath, count to ten的听、说、读、写，以及在具体的情境中结合句子You should ….进行正确使用。这节课我主要通过创设不同的情景，展现不同的人物情绪和感受，引导学生用句型You should….对他人情绪提出合理建议。如：陈洁病了，我们该如何给她建议，学生很自然就想到该去“see a doctor”。用具体的语言情景去驱动学生自主地寻求答案，从而自我习得知识。在教学的过程中，我渗透了情感教育，引导学生不以自我为中心，学会关心他人，热爱生活。

本节课的短语比较简单，在课后通过布置作业，让学生去联想更多可以使用本课短语的情景，做到真正学以致用。
