Material analysis 本节课的课型为听说课，主要活动是对1a和2a。

1a重点是对美食节开幕式主持词的学习和掌握，while-listening环节里第一个听力任务是听并找到主持人的开场白和结束语，第二个听力任务是听并完成1b表格。之后设置不同的情境，要求学生角色扮演，主持不同活动的开幕式，从而达到运用目标语言并展示自我的目的。将1a改写成短文描述美食节开幕式是对所学语言的再一次巩固和输出。2a学习订餐、接单、用餐等的日常功能用语。在Listening, reading and speaking这一环节里，首先提出问题：如果你是美食节的一名服务员，你将怎样招待客人？学生自由讨论并试图解决问题。接下来观看2a视频，让学生感知目标语言，并通过师生讨论再现目标语言并加深印象。然后学生看菜单图片并阅读2a，填空并完成对话。播放录音核对答案之后，学生自己找出关于就餐的功能句，并编对话加以练习巩固。在listening and speaking环节里，首先利用连线的方式复习名词及数量短语，为听力做准备。然后完成3的听力任务。最后利用3的表格编写就餐对话再一次巩固目标语言。

Listen, look and say 1. Play the wmv of 1a for the students to watch. Then ask them to finish 1b. (about 10 minutes) 2. Help the students to understand some important or difficult points, like “is open; for sale; Let’s wish them success!”
