Unit2 Colors

【教材分析】本单元学习1.表示颜色的八个单词;2.问颜色的句型并能够作回答.;3.能够利用实物流利地问答颜色; 4.字母y,r,p在单词开头的发音。

【教学目标】

1.Vocabulary: red, yellow, blue, pink, green, orange, purple, brown.

2.Target: What color is this? It’s orange. Look, it’s an apple. It’s red.

Yes, it is.

3. 能用英语表达、认识颜色并能熟练地操练句型。

4. 培养学生自主学习、操作和实践能力,以及其团结协助精神。

【教学重点】

1.表示颜色的8个单词。

2.能够用颜色的句型进行提问并能正确作答。

3.能够在真实的情景中自如地运用所学的句型。

【教学难点】

1. 单词green和brown的发音。

2. 能够在真实的情景中自如地运用所学的句型。

3.It’s orange. 和It’s an orange.的区别。

4.字母y,r,p在单词开头的发音。

【课前准备】Picture Cards , PPT, objects, tape .

【课时安排】three periods

【教学过程】

The first period

Step 1 Warm up

Chant: Book, pen, desk, chair

Step 2 Presentation

1.To show an apple.

T: Look! What’s this? Ss: It’s an apple.

T: Yes, it’s an apple. What color is this?

2. Read and spell the new word red group by group or two by two.

3. Write down the new word red and the sentences on the blackboard.

4. Use the objects to present the new words green,yellow, blue, orange , pink,purple,brown.

5. Use the same way to read and spell the new words.

6. Practice the sentence patterns.

7.Chant

Red, red, red.

Hey! What color is this?

It’s red. It’s a red apple.

8. Make a new chant with your partner.

Step 3 Practice

1. Ask and answer with the classroom’s red things. (Such as a red apple, a red balloon, etc)

2. Use the same way to ask and answer with the green, yellow and blue things.

3. Now ask and answer with your partner, using your classroom’s things. What color is this? It’s……

4. Game

Listen to the music and pass the doll, when the music stops, the whole class ask the student who has the doll What color is this? Then the student answers.

5. Sing a song: What color is this?

Listen to the tape and follow the tape to sing

Step 4 Consolidation

1. Use the colors to design a picture

2. Open your books and follow the tape to read Vocabulary and Target.

Step 5 Homework

1) Listen to the tape and read it.

2) Copy the new words and sentences twice.

3) Ask your parents What color is this? Blackboard
