《开心学英语》五年级上册

Unit 6 Shopping for a School Party.

----Story教学设计

江门市蓬江区荷塘镇禾冈小学梁佳

一、教学目标:

1.学习对话。

2.熟练掌握及会运用句型How much is / are……?对不同的物品询问价钱,并会准确回答。

3.熟练运用That’s cheap / expensive ! 对比物品的价钱。

二、教学重点难点:

1.能正确运用句型来询问和对比物品的价钱。

2.熟练掌握is, are与名词单复数的对应关系。

3.magic,thousand的读音。

4.词组do magic用法

5.熟练掌握句子Can I try it?Sure.

6.yuan没有单复数形式,dollar的复数是dollars。

7.能把已学的动物单词课后进行归类。

三、课前准备

金太阳课件、录音机、磁带、图片、学习用品、实物、人民币和自制简单课件。

四、教学过程:

Step1 Warming- up and getting ready.

1. Greeting, say hello to the children

2. Chant activity at page 28.

Step 2 Revision

1. Go over the numbers 1-100 as quickly as possible.快速教会学生超过100的表达法,如298 two hundred and ninety-eight.

2. Ask and answer using the follow sentence patterns.

How much is ……?

It’s ……yuan. That’s cheap.

How much are ……?

They’re……dollars. That’s expensive.

3. Group work

T: This time let’s practice in groups of four. Look at the pictures from Practice2 on Page27, talk about them like Target. Then I’ll choose some groups to act out your dialogues.

Step 3. Presentation.

1. 教师拿出一顶魔术帽子说Boys and girls. Look at this. Is it a hat? 生答Yes, it is.教师接着学生的话说Yes, it’s a hat. It’s a magic (板书)hat.引出对话生词magic,分音节教授单词ma-gic, magic. Read it one by one. 教师走到一学生面前说Can you try it? (板书)引出对话又一生词try, 示范读,带读句子,要求学生替换人称代词造句Can he try it? Can they try it? Can she try it? Can I try it?引出对话重点句, 带读-齐读-小组读-个人抽查,在个人读Can I try it?时, 教师抓住时机引出答句Sure. (板书)

2. T: Yesterday Gogo bought a hat at the shopping mall too. Now look and listen (播放金太阳课件).

2. Books close, look and listen once carefully, look at the following questions. Listen once more, then answer the questions.

①What’s that?

②Is it a magic hat?

③Can Gogo do magic?

④How much is it?

⑤Can Gogo try it?

3. Game (句子游戏)

T: It’s time to play a game.There are some sentences from the

conversation. Please

range the sentences according to the conversation..

4. Repeat after the tape, read together. Then read in groups of two (播放金太阳课件)

(学生跟读—集体读一次—小组读一次)

Step4 Drill and practice

1. 在讲台上提供一定量的实物,先教师与一学生示范,然后把学生分成四人一组进行编对话, 最后抽查个别组上前表演购物的对话。(用投影打出对话)

A: Good morning.

B: Good morning.

A: Can I help you?

B: Yes, please. I want to buy…… How much is this……?

A: It’s ……yuan.

B: That’s expensive. How much is that…..?

A: It’s ……yuan.

B: That’s cheap. I will take it. Here’s the money. Good-bye.

2. Listening practice1. Open books at page 27, listen to the tape once and choose the correct picture. Listen again, check the answer.

Step5. Exercise design

1.根据课文把对话补充完整

A: Hi, What’s _________?

B: It’s a __________ hat.

A: Oh, how ________ is it?

B:It’s a hundred __________ .

A: Wow! That’s ______________.

Can I ________ it?

B: Sure.

(先小组讨论做, 然后再评讲答案)

2.连词组句

Step 6 Summary

1.Read what we’ve learned today.

2.反复强调is, are与名词、代词单复数的一致性。

Step 7 Homework:

1. Dictate “V ocabulary and Taget” by your parents.

3. Write a short passage about shopping.

4. Preview Sound and words.

Step 8 Blackboard writing
