一、设计思路及指导依据

本节课的设计主要依据教材内容及六年级学生的年龄特点，充分体现新课程标准下倡导的“让学生在教师的指导下，通过感知、体验、实践、参与与合作等方式，实现任务目标、感受成功”的理念，使学生在情景中体验和运用新语言。

二、教材分析

本课教学内容是冀教版小学英语（一起）六年级下册Lesson11 An Old Man and a Wolf, 课时为一课时，课型为故事教学课。

本课是在中国寓言故事《东郭先生和狼》的基础上稍作改动的一篇文章，讲的是一位老人救了狼，狼反而要吃了它，最后老人把狼骗回袋子里，去寻找要杀死狼的农夫了。告诉我们要明辨是非、帮助那些真正需要帮助的人。故事生动有趣、有教育意义、耐人寻味。

三、学情分析

本课的授课对象是临近毕业的六年级的学生，他们具备了口语表达和阅读理解的能力，对故事课非常感兴趣，有着强烈的求知欲和表现欲。

四、教学目标

1. Students will be able to recognize,understand and use the following word : clever 2.Students can simply describe stories in English .

Ⅰ. Warming up 1.

We know Jenny,Danny,Li Ming and Mr. Smith have a long trip.Please listen to a song “We drive in the car”(PPT) 【设计意图】上课伊始，教师通过Jenny,Danny,Li Ming,Mr.Smith旅行途中所见的歌曲导入新课，调动学生的学习兴趣，营造愉快的学习氛围，为接下来Li Ming讲故事做好铺垫。

Ⅱ.Leading in the new class T: There are many famous Chinese stories. I know “Cao Chong Weighs an Elephant”What do you know? Ss:I know “Kong Rong and the Pear”…

【设计意图】教师通过引导学生回顾之前学的寓言故事，铺设语境，感知本课话题。

Ⅲ. Presentation

1.T: Today,Li Ming will tell a story of A Man and a Wolf. (Let the students help me to put up the blackboard.)

Then practice in the groups.Role-play. 【设计意图】由于本课只有一个新词“clever”,所以学生在学习此故事中不会感到困难。我通过图片的截取来创设情境，让学生在轻

松、自由的氛围中有感情的说英语,并且根据故事情节让学生发挥想象，培养了学生的想象力，提高了英语课堂教学质量。

Ⅳ.Watching the video. The students watch the text video. Then open their books and try to find out the past tense of the verbs.Read them. Then read this lesson together . 【设计意图】教学回归于教材，整体感知故事。

Ⅴ.Group work Think and Talk: 1.What do you think of the old man ? 2.What do you learn from the story ? Tell the whole class of their ideas.Then let the volunteers describe stories in English or act the text out. 【设计意图】

学生在小组合作中互相学习，提高合作意识、团队精神。同时起到以强带弱，培优补差的作用。

Ⅵ.Summary Tell the students: There are many good people in the world , but we must learn to protect ourselves , to distinguish right from wrong , and to help those who should help .
