Ⅰ.Teaching contents: This unit for grade 4 students is not very difficult. They have learned English for 3 years .They have knew something about English. The students in grade 4 are all 10-11 years old, they are full of curiosity, they like taking part in activities and playing games.

Ⅱ.Learning aims:

①Through some ways to learn and practice. Enable the Ss understand and speak the sentences: -How much are they/is it? -They’re .../It’s.... –Can I help you ?-You’re fired.-No problem.-Can I try them on? By creating different ways to show. Enable students can express with those sentences. We’ll check it by show time and group work. ②After different ways to listen and speak, develop students’

abilities of listening and speaking. Through group cooperation, their ability of cooperation and communication will be trained. ③After this class, know a little about in western culture ,know the size of the clothes. Ⅲ.Teaching aids: PPT, Blackboard, pictures, cards, tape.

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in T: Now, let’ s begin our class. Good afternoon, boys and girls. How are you ? What is the weather like today？

Ss: Good afternoon, teacher. I’m fine ,thank you. It’s hot and sunny. T：We’ll learn unit 6 shopping part C Story time . T: Today, I’m so happy because you’ll share something with me. It’s your show time. Ss: Share the mind map. (找三四个孩子分享他们做的思维导图，对第六单元学过的知识进行复习和总结。)（注意找学生对他们的思维导图评价和提问。有助于知识的复习和进步。）
