二、教学重点： 1. 词汇：street 2. 句型： Where is the ______? Go straight and turn left/right. 三、教学难点：熟练运用所学句型进行交际交流。

四、教学过程：

I. Warm up Greetings and review: How are you? What day is today? T: Where did you go yesterday? Is it near/far from the school? (简单的问题，唤起学生的记忆，为下一步的学习做好准备)。

II. New Concept 1. Where is the zoo?

T: 出示城市的图片，What’s this? It’s a city. What can you see in a city?

与学生一起谈论有关城市的话题。

出示城市街道的图片，What’s this? It’s a street.

介绍单词：street, follow to read. What can you see on the street? 出示三个表示方向的标志，go straight, turn left, turn right, follow to read, 教师通过做动作，让学生理解三个短语的含义。

Student book: Look at the pictures, What’s the matter with Danny?

学生观看教学光盘或听录音，思考这个问题。(Danny is lost.) Watch again, follow to read, think: Where does Danny want to go? How can he get there? 指名回答问题，Danny

wants to go to the zoo. Go straight and turn left. There’s the zoo.

学生分角色朗读课文。
