C Story time

一、Warm -up

1、Everyday English

2、Review:T:What’s this ? S:It’s a clock .

T:What time is it ? S:It’s 8 o’clock . It’s time for English class .

T: Yeah, very good ! Are you ready for English class? S:Yes , I’m ready .

二、Presentation

1. Let students look the picture . T: Look ,Who is he ? S:Zoom. T:Do you like him ? S:Yes , I do . T: I like him , too .

2. Present the story

A:Show the picture 1 and 2 of the story .T: Now ,look ,Where is Zoom ? S:He is in the bed . T:Yeah ,Zoom is sleeping .What is Zip doing ?

B:Watch and follow .T explains “Wake up””I want to sleep” .Then let Ss act it .

C: T: Zoom wants to sleep .What will Zip do ? Show the picture 3 and 4 of story . Let Ss listen to the tape and answer the questions : What’s in the Zip’s hand ? S: It’s a clock . T: What time is it ? S: It’s 8 o’clock . Zoom says: I’m late for

school . T explains ” I’m late for school ”.Then let Ss repeat and act .

D: T:Is it really 8 o’clock ? Let’s go on . Show the picture 5 and 6,listen to the tape . T: What time is it ? S: It’s 7 o’clock . T: Why does zip say it’s 8 o’clock at first ? S: April Fool .

3.T introduce “April Fool” ,Ss read the passage .

4.Listen and repeat.

5. Let’s act.

1.Listen to the story and repeat .

2.Look at the picture and put them in order .

3.Read and choose the right answer .

四、Homework

1、Read story to your teacher;

2、Design a timetable for Zip and Zoom。
