(3)在听录音前,引导学生利用阅读技巧中的“猜词”等方法,进行图文配对,猜测制作顺序;听课文录音,进行顺序学习和确认,潜移默化中锻炼学生“听”的能力;

(4)最后通过一个“配汤”的任务,让学生在相互学习中,拓展学习更多种类的“汤”,教导学生要营养均衡膳食,引导学生关注中国,尤其是广东的“汤”文化,并在使用中熟练运用句型What do we need? We need some …等。

T: What day is it today?

What do you have for breakfast on Tuesday?

What do you have for school breakfast on Tuesday? Do you have any bread for breakfast? Do you have any music for breakfast?

Do you have any games for breakfast? Of course not. But we have games for our English class. Let’s play a game. Let’s play a cutting game.

3. Play a word game( Cutting Game)

T: Do you remember the last word?

Step 3: While Reading

Learn the menu about what we need for the vegetable soup. T: Do we need a lot for cooking? Do we need 100 carrots for the soup? Of course not. We just need a few. Let’s see the cooking menu.

(Lead the Ss to read the cooking menu together.) 2.

Task 2: March the cooking steps with the pictures.

(Thinking before reading.) T: OK. I have the vegetables here. (Show the real things.) Can we cook them now? Nope, they’re too dirty. What should we do first? (Lead the Ss to learn some key words for the cooking steps, such as “wash”, “peel”, “cut” and “cook”. It makes the cooking steps reading easier for them.) T: Wow, you did a good job. My friend Meistar gave me some cooking steps. But they are messy.

( Lead the Ss to read the messy cooking steps together.)

T: And she got some pictures. Would you please match the cooking steps with the pictures? You have 3 min.

Task 4: Read the passage while listening, and check the steps about how to make the soup. ( Listen twice, make sure Step 3 and Step 4) 5.

10min 1. Task 5: Write an e-mail to introduce how to make the soup.

T: Xiaolong, who is Meistar’s cousin, he likes cooking very much. Can you help Meistar to write an e-mail for him and tell him how to cook the vegetable soup? Please open your books, turn to p61. Listen, and finish the e-mail.

(Finish the exercise on the books and make sure the cooking steps of the vegetable soup again.)
