教材分析
本单元旨在帮助学生对自我和周围世界进行理解。通过学习课文,进行口语训练和读、写、看、展示的活动,学生会对自己的想法、感受和周围环境进行探求,同时还会对英语语言进行探索和展开运用。学完本单元大部分学生要能用有关自己的信息做出简短回答,本节课在前两节课的基础上学习相互祝贺生日快乐。

Lead-in Teacher shows a picture of a birthday party, and asks students“What are they doing?”Choose one student to answer the question.

T: We will have a birthday party for the students whose birthdays are in May.
Teacher shows the title of the lesson: Happy Birthday.
T: Read it together. Happy birthday.
Students: Happy birthday. T: Girls/ Boys read it. Girls/ Boys: Happy birthday. T: What do we need for a birthday party? S1: A cake, candles, balloons, gifts, party hats. 教学反思
1.
优点:①设置过生日的场景,告诉学生今天要给本月过生日的同学共同开生日会,带领学生在生日场景中学说句子、唱生日歌。通过生生对话加以巩固,使学生在幸福、快乐、真实的场景中整体感知语言,体验语言的真实自然及语言的交际功能。小朋友们友爱、快乐的真实情感在歌曲中溢于言表,学习氛围较好。②学生在这节课都有所收获:学会了祝福别人生日;学会了5个句子;要记住家人生日给家人惊喜,表达爱;学会了做贺卡。
2.
缺点:①学生个人展示,个人检测较少。需要再加入一些个人操练和检测。
②唱生日歌之前可以加入复习,问过生日的学生 How old are you? 把相应数量的蜡烛贴在蛋糕卡片上。
③贺卡制作过程用时有点长,最先完成的小组应该有奖励,激励其它组,提高小组合作效率。
④Susan同学平时上课非常认真,爱帮助同学,很受同学欢迎,收到的贺卡比较多。当时可以适当地引导学生向Susan同学学习。
