备课内容:Book6. Unit4. Going Outing

第2课时

Story,

Activity 教材分析:本课时主要学习Story,这个故事是讲Tony, Jenny 和Gogo到森林去进行户外活动,Tony和Jenny想找小鸟,Gogo说自己从没找过小鸟,只找过糖,而且总会找到糖。走着走着,他们遇到了蛇,后来又迷路了。

学生分析:我们当地有清明节拜山的习俗,所以孩子们应该都去过森林里,都会知道在森林里会看到些什么,因而对于Gogo说在森林里找到糖可能感到很奇怪。其实文中的candies应该是Gogo变出来的。本单元的第1课时孩子们已经学习了问答去某地使用什么交通工具的句型,但是贯穿文章的重点词look for 和find都是新单词,之前只是在一些练习中出现过,部分孩子可能忘记了它们的意思,会影响他们对文章的理解。在学习故事前就以谈话导入的形式借助PPT呈现新单词、图片帮助学生习。本单元是一般现在时的句型的学习,为了不让学生与将来时混淆,先不呈现之前将来时的复习。

教学目标:

语言知识:(1)新单词、词组的意思:woods, look for, find, lost.

(2)candy的复数形式是:candies. 语言技能:(1)会理解Story的意思。

(2)清楚never, sometimes, usually, always的用法。

(3)

能区别使用take/ ride/ drive a …和by …表达使用什么交通工具去某地。

学习策略:小组交流学习,理解故事并完成一些练习题和分角色演说故事。同桌交流,进行对话练习。

情感态度:热爱户外活动,但必须有家长的陪同,并出发前做好相应的准备,提高安全意识。

教学重点:理解Story的意思,和巩固本单元的句型。

教学难点:理解新单词、词组:woods, candies, look for, find, lost.

教学准备:教材、PPT、一袋糖。

教学过程:

一、

Before reading 1.

复习:T: Boys and girls, do you like weekend? Where do you usually go on weekend? How do you go there? 学生按自己实际情况回答。然后T:I usually go shopping on Sunday. Do you know how do I go to the shopping mall? You can ask me. S1:How do you go to the shopping mall? T: I usually drive my car. And I usually buy some candies. (老师出示一包糖,然后一边讲课、呈现PPT学习candies,一边不经意地把糖放进讲台的抽屉里)

学习candies, PPT呈现图及单词a piece of candy, 然后呈现多颗糖PPT把刚才的a piece of candy, 变成some candies. 教读复数形式。

老师故作丢失糖的表情:Where are my candies? Let’s look for them. 最后老师打开讲台的抽屉:Hey, I find my candies. They’re in the desk. 在提到look for 和find的同时PPT呈现相应的词组或单词,教学look for, find. 4.

导入Story: T: We usually go out on weekend. What about Tony, Jenny and Gogo. Where are they? PPT呈现森林的图,教学woods. T: Yes, they are in the woods. They’re going outing(PPT呈现going outing并学习) . They want to look for something, too. What do they look for? Let’s watch the video.

二、

While reading 1.

看完视频后,学生回答刚才的问题:What do Tony and Jenny look for? 2.

自由读文章,然后完成选择题:

(1)Gogo usually look for some _______. A. birds

B. candies

C. snakes(蛇)

(2)Gogo ________ find some candies. A. always

B. usually

C. never 3.

小组学习Story, 要求:(1)读Story; (2)理解Story; (3)回答以下两个问题:

Where are Tony, Jenny and Gogo? ②

Do they find any birds?

学生在进行小组交流时,教师在各组间走动,解答学生的疑难。

检查小组学习情况:(1)提出疑难,集体解难;(2)教师检查新单词woods, lost的读音和理解。

(3)个别小组读Story. (4)个别小组派代表回答刚才的问题。

在回答第2个问题后,T:What happened to them at last? (引出lost的学习).Let’s think, why do they lost? 学生可用中文回答,教师及时做思想教育:They don’t find any birds. And they’re lost. We need to get ready before going out. And be careful.

小组活动:分角色读对话。活动前,再播放一次Story的视频,学生注意人物的表情和说话的语气。

个别小组分角色读对话;然后全班分角色读。

三、

After reading 1.

Retell the story: Tony, Jenny and Gogo are in the __________. They want to ______ ______ some birds. But Gogo never looks for birds. He _________ looks for candies. And he always __________ some. At last, they don’t find any _________. And they’re ______. 先教师带着学生利用板书复述一遍Story, 然后填空。

2.

思想教育:If you want to go outing, you must be accompanied(陪同) by your parents. And need to get ready for the outing.

四、

Exercise 书本P49/ Activity 1.

过渡:T:If we are ready, we can go out with our parent on the weekends, we can go outing and go to the park, the zoo, the beach, the pool …Maybe we usually take a bus there. Maybe we always ride a bike there. Let’s look at Gogo, how does he go to the park/how does he go to the beach? We can use “always”/ ”usually”/ “sometimes”/ “never” answer. (PPT呈现4个频度副词及相应的图标) 2.

请一位学生和老师问答书上的内容。教师板书问句并引导学生说出用by的表达。同样答句也标出两种表达。

T:What about you? 让学生在书上填好自己的情况,然后Pair work,同桌问答。

4. 请两位同学按各自填的内容问答。

五、

Summary 根据句子的意思填上适当单词,有的首字母已给出。
