Teaching aims: 1.Knowledge and skill aims: Grasp the new words,phrases, key points of Section B. 2.Process and method aims: Through group cooperation, deskmate cooperation and self-study, they can master the key points and difficult points of this part. Teaching difficulties; Grasp the rules about how to change direct speech into indirect speech. Teaching key points; Grasp the structure ‘It is +adj+for sb+to do sth’ equals to ‘It is +adj+that’

Teaching process; Step 1 Daily greeting. Show the title on the blackboard. Step 2 Show learning aims to students, then students read the learning aims together. Guide 1 Lead-in Ask students a question(2mins) Can you guess his job from his uniform? Through this question and introduce new words in the part. Guide 2 Words competition(3mins) Give students 1 minute to remember these new words, then choose several students to recite these new words. Step 3 Presentation

Guide 3 Listen to the conversation first. Pay attention to the pronunciation of the key words. Then finish 1b. Check the answers together. Guide 4 Watch the video.Then practice with their deskmates. Then I will choose four students to act it out in class.

Step 4 Explanation

Read and translate this dialogue and explain the key language points of this part. Step 5 Make a new dialogue using the structure ‘It is +adj+for sb+to do sth’

and ‘It is +adj+that’

I will give students 2 minutes in groups to discuss how to speak in this structure. Then they can perform in class. Step 6 Consolidation I will consolidate what we have learned for today’s class. Review the words, phrases and language points and so on. Step 7 Exercise Do class exercise by themselves, then I will explain them. Step 8 Homework Finish the workbook in Section B Blackboard design
