Unit 5 My father is great 一、教学目标：

1.To master the new words “teacher, driver, doctor, nurse, pupil ”

2. Understand and answer “What is his job? 3. To be able to complete the part of “Try to do” and make dialogues by using the sentence patterns. 4.To be able to be interest in learning English. 二、教学重、难点：

1.To master the new sentences:“What is his job? He’s a \an...”

2.Master the sentences: “What is she job? She’s a \an...”

三、教学过程：

（一）Warming up 1. Greeting T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Miss/Mr.…. Together sing a song“ Follow me”. 歌曲热身,活跃气氛,让学生快速融入到英语课堂中来。通过复习,使学生更深的掌握所学知识,达到温故而知新的目的。

2. Free talk T: What colors/animals do you know ? Ss: .... T: You’re great. You know many colors and animals.

（通过师生亲切的日常问候、自然的交流,引导学生进入英语思维的课堂环节。既培养了师生之间的情感,同时引出标题,并通过图片来引入本课的两个难点句子,易于学生理解。）

（二） Presentation 1.The teacher shows a picture and says: “Look, Whose father ? 2.Why is h e great? Why is he great?”(自学提示,小组汇报) 3.T says: This is Xiao H u i’s father. Because he knows many things. He is great. Ask the Ss to understand and guess the father’s job. ”

引出teacher,同法学习driver( Game :Do action)。复习重点:单三。对单词teacher .driver进行解码。总结规律:在动词词尾加e r 可表示职业,某些以e结尾的动词可通过加r来变成名词,输入有关职业的词汇,扩展知识。引出询问爸爸的职业

What ’s his job?并板书。

4.The teacher says “I’m a teacher. What’s your job?”

由部分学生的答语I’m a student.引出单词:小学生pupil.(finger game)。

通过听觉吸引学生们的注意力,同时纠正学生的语音语调。

5.The teacher draws a picture and says “What’s her job?”. 由简笔画呈现:护士 nurse.(Make a sentence with nurse)

6.T teacher asks : “Guess, What’s his job ?”

医生doctor ( Game: one by one) （通过a guessing game激发学生的学习兴趣,使学生自然地融入到新知识的学习中,对新知的学习充满兴趣。）

7.Play a game “What’s missing?” The teacher shows all the flashcards of jobs and changes the locations of the cards quickly, and then, takes out one the card and asks the students to guess. Again and again. （通过多种形式的操练并表演,树立学生学习英语的信心,富有刺激性的、挑战性的学习,把兴趣延伸到以后的每一节课。）

（三）Practice and Consolidation. 1. Listen to the tape and read in groups. 2.Act the dialogues. 3.Game time. What’s her/ his job? Try to do. 学生描述 Henry家庭,迅速完成表格。

小组汇报描述自己的家庭。英文会话生活化,走进学生的生活

（四）Summary 1. What have you learnt in this class? 2. Time, exercise the tongue twisters of this class. 3. To talk about things put in your own room.
