【教学目标】

知识目标：

1.掌握并运用单词：cup，plan - planned，baseball，more，smile - smiled，mistake，said并能够区分单词cup, cap. 2.学生能听懂会说Why do you have cups on your heads？

Why are you laughing？等句型并能在实际情景中运用。

技能目标：

1.能正确、流利地朗读课文。

2.能够运用“Why...？”对不理解的事情进行询问并回答。

情感目标：

培养学生们学英语的兴趣，鼓励学生敢于开口说英语，不怕犯错误。

【教学重难点】

重点：能用“Why …?”对不理解的事情进行询问并回答。

难点: 综合运用一般现在时态、现在进行时态和一般过去时态。

【教学过程】

Step 1: Warm up & Lead in 1. Greetings.

2. Sing a song: 3.直导题。Today, we’ll learn a story.

“Why do you have cups on your heads?”

Step 2: Presentation Now, tell me what are there in my hands?师教授cap与cup，which one can I put on my head?两种东西放头上对比，感受funny。Look! there were some Ss there, they had cups on their heads .And they’re laughing. Q1: Why do they have cups on their heads? Q2: Why are they laughing? 1.播放flash，让学生带着问题去理解课文，并找出问题的答案。循序渐进地引导学生说出句子，对句子进行逐一处理。

1）They planned to play a baseball game.

本句中教学生学习planned, baseball两个生词，借由单词卡片和图片，让学生了解单词和句子的意思。

2）Amy asked Lingling to bring some caps for the game.

But Lingling brought some cups.

They look like the same ,they sound like the same. But are they the same thing? No, now ,let’s play a game. (do and say)

这两句话中，主要让学生对比cap和cup在读音字形上的相似，和意义上的不同，通过图片进行选择。同时标注出bring和brought。

3) Then they put the cups on their heads.

出示图片进行理解。

在教学新句子新单词时，对单词句子进行不同程度的操练，采用全班读-小组读-男女读-个人读等方式。

2. 自读第三部分，了解Lingling犯错的原因

T: Amy asked Lingling to bring caps but Lingling brought cups. Why ? Q3: Why did Lingling bring cups ?

Please read part 3, and find out the answer .(可让学生用汉语表达) T：Lingling made mistakes with English words.

该部分出示cap和cup的直观对比，让学生对Lingling犯的错误一目了然。What did Sam say?

让学生找出答案，学习mistake。

3.Q4: Did they play baseball at last ? Q5: Who brought them baseball caps ? 学生再次读第三部分，寻找两个问题的答案。

教师用身体语言来展示put … on 的含义。

4. Listen and repeat

跟读时，教授smiled,said两个单词。

5.Act it out. Step3: Practise and consolidation 1.通读完课文，出示文中activity3图片，让学生自由讨论并回答。

2. 复述课文retell the story. 学生跟读完课文后小组中练习阅读，出示故事梗概图片和提醒语句，让学生尝试对课文进行复述。

3.看图片，听问句，回答问题。

该练习利用听力的方式来提问Why … ?

听一遍后，全班一起看图将问题读出来，并请多个学生用because回答问题。

4.请学生先朗读示例，后将答案写到书中，完成书写之后两人一组，对练习的内容进行回答。请部分学生展示。

Step4：Emotional Education 在学习英语过程中，大家或多或少会出现一些语言错误。出现错误不可怕，我们应该勇于面对学习英语中所犯的错误，学会总结自己的语言错误，在今后的学习中多加注意。失败是成功之母，直面失败，我们会不断地哪里，直到成功。

1. Retell the story to your parents or friends. 2. Use“Why are you … ? Because I’m… .”to write a dialogue.
