Module 8 Unit1 When did they come? 一、教材分析

本课是外研社版一年级起点四年级下册Module8 Unit1 When did they come?本课的功能是使用特殊疑问句询问过去的行为。一般过去时是四年级学习的一个重要语法点，它贯穿了整册教材。本单元是第一单元，主要讲述的是Amy 和Ms Smart在读报的过程中了解到一些英国孩子上周来中国参加音乐比赛从而引出本课询问过去行为的特殊疑问句及回答。

二、学情分析

四年级的学生已有一定的英语基础，对新颖的事物比较感兴趣，乐于表达。学生通过前几个模块的学习已经了解一般过去时，熟悉一些常见的动词变过去式规则，能够表达过去的行为，但灵活运用的程度不够。为此，本课教师要创设贴近学生生活的情境启发学生的思维，激发学生表达，训练学生的语用能力。

三、教学目标

1.语言技能

（1）听：全体学生能听懂课文及和课文相关的材料。

（2）说: 全体学生能正确的使用功能语句询问他人过去的行为并作出正确回答。

（3）读: 全体学生能准确的认读单词、重点语句和课文。

（4）写：全体学生能写出本课的四会单词及2个特殊疑问句。

2.语言知识

（1）功能：使用特殊疑问句询问过去的行为。

（2）语法：学习一般过去时的特殊疑问句及答语。全体学生能运用目标语句。

（3）词汇：全体学生能正确理解并运用单词when,come-came,理解单词competition, win-won, gold cup, flute, practise。

（4）语音：感知came中“a”的发音。

3. 情感态度

学生能够对英语产生兴趣，积极参与英语活动，形成与他人的交流合作意识。

4. 学习策略

学生在情境中学习并运用一般过去时的特殊疑问句。

了解比赛活动。

（一）Warm-up and lead-in（3分钟）

（二）Task presentation（1分钟）

学习用特殊疑问句谈论过去发生的事，然后根据所学内容向我校的外教老师介绍我校上个月艺术节比赛。

【设计意图】创设用英语做事情的任务，明确本课的学习内容和学习任务。

（三）Text learning（10分钟）

3.小结：特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+一般疑问句语序。

【设计意图】通过整体感知课文，理解课文，跟读课文帮助学生在情境中理解掌握本课的单词及目标语句，加深对文本的理解。

（四）Practice（14分钟）

3.Play a game.(句型转换) （四人一组以抽签方式根据提供信息（who,when,where,what）组词成句，根据组成的句子进行特殊疑问句提问。第一组示范，第二组组内完成。）

【设计意图】通过机械式操练和游戏的方式巩固操练本课的重点语句，任务由浅入深，帮助学生总结发现，训练听说的同时培养与他人合作的意识。

（五）Task completion（10分钟）
