Teaching steps Step1 Warm up 1. Greet the pupils and introduce myself: Good morning, children. Welcome back to class! How nice to see you again! (My name is Yan Cong. Please call me Miss Yan. From now on I’m your new teacher. I’ll teach you English this term.)

2. Ask the pupils: How is your holiday? Did you have a good time? Have you finished your homework? Step2 Presentation 1. Say: Today is cloudy. What’s the weather like ? And point to the picture. Then revise the weather:windy sunny fine rainy foggy overcast and so on. 2. Continue to ask a pupil: Do you like a sunny / windy day? Step3 Practice 1.Have them practice the dialogue. 2.
