学生分析:
本课的教学对象是已经学习英语三年的五年级学生。他们在英语学习上已经掌握了一定的方法,并具备了一定的听、说、读、写的语言知识和语言技能。所以他们对应于学习已产生一定的兴趣并愿意尝试深层教学,特别是阅读和写作技能的提高。
学习本课前,学生已经掌握了一般将来时的基本句型和用法: What are you going to do? I’m going to…及相关的词组。
教材分析:
本节课是《开心英语》第五册第二单元Vacation Plans的第二课时Story的教学。之所以选择五年级的教学材料是因为该单元知识非常贴近学生的实际生活,暑假快到了,学生对如何plan a trip in the summer holiday这个话题非常感兴趣。第一课时学生已经掌握了本课的重点单词:by ship/plane/bus/train, hotel, sightseeing…和一般将来时的句型:How are you going to go?
Where are you going to stay? 一般将来时是这个单元的重点,但不会是难点。本课时主要是在学习了这些知识的基础上进一步提高学生的阅读和写作能力。
教学目标:
1、语言知识目标
(1)理解并正确读出本课出现的新单词、新句子和课文对话。
(2)理解并运用掌握了一般将来时的基本句型
2、语言技能目标
(1)理解并流利朗读课文对话及表演课文对话。
(2)理解并读出自己所写的短文。
3、情感态度目标
(1)能够主动与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,能够积极地参与课堂教学的各项活动。
(2)激发学生的学习兴趣;培养学生热爱集体、热爱生活的情感态度。
4、学习策略目标
(1)学会小组合作,与他人交流。
(2)学习如何阅读和写作英语小短文。
5、文化意识目标
了解部分国家及地区的游览胜地和特色食物。
教学方法:
除了阅读本课的教材课文外,我还为学生提供了一篇课外阅读
材料,用以拓展学生的阅读能力。主要开展以学生为主体的活动,如:个体阅读、小组讨论、小组交流故事、合作复述故事等,使得学生在语言实践活动中发展综合运用语言的能力。

九、教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up
1、Greeting.
2、Free talk:
What’s the date today?
What day is it today?
What’s the weather like today?
(采用Free talk的形式,使教师和学生之间的关系融洽,消除了学生的紧张心理。)
Step 2 Presentation
1.Lead in:
(1) revise the names of some places: Beijing, Hainan, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Tibet.
T: Do you know these places?
(2) Teach the new word: Tibet
(3) T: Who are they?
Ss: They are Tony, Jenny and Gogo.
T: I know they are planning a trip in the vacation, too. Where are they going to go? Do you want to know?
(以旧引新,在师生问答的同时,自然的引出新知,体现教学的无痕。)
2.The first-reading:
T: Take out your material. Read it by yourselves.
Let the students read the conversation for about one minute. 3.Exercise: Tick or Cross.
(1) T: Show me tick or cross. ( with gestures)
The students show the answers with gestures.
(2) Teach the new words: mountains
(通过学生阅读,检查他们对课文的理解程度。由于本课的新单词比较少,所以把单词放在这个练习中呈现。)
4.The second-reading
(1)L et the students watch the video of the Conversation. (让学生观看课文录像,进一步加深对课文的理解,并能从中模仿正确的语音语调。)
(2)A sk the students to read the Conversation in groups and role play.
(3)H ave three students come in front and act out the
Conversation. (叫三位学生给课文录像配音)
5.Activity one:
(1)T: First fill in the blanks and then put the sentences in order. Let’s try to complete the story.
(小组中的每个学生都要课文内容填好自己纸条上的missing words, 然后小组合作把所有的纸条拼在一起组成一段话。)
(2) Ask one group to read out their story.
(3) Have the whole class retell the story together.
6. Activity two:
Think about the questions:
What will they do in Tibet?
What will they see or visit?
What will they eat or drink?
(引导学生发挥想象力,回答更深层的问题,同时让学生了解西藏的文化特色。)
Step 3 Development
1. Read another passage: Plan a trip to Beijing
2. Get the students to answer the questions according to the passage.
( 拓展阅读,让学生阅读教师的旅游计划并了解北京的文化特色。) 3. Exercise: Match the words and the Chinese meaning.
(让学生猜测北京的名胜古迹的英语表达,学生对此表现活跃。) 4. Activity three: Write the trip plan.
(1) Talk about the trip plan with two students.
(2) Write the trip plan.
(3) Ask some students to read their plan in front of the class. (高年级学生有写的能力,适当的对所学内容进行拓展训练,有利于学生的长远发展,同时写作也为提高学生对语言综合运用的能力搭建舞台。)
Step 4 Summary and Homework
Homework
1. Retell the story of the Conversation in Unit 10.
2. You are a tour guide, write a short passage to introduce Enping.

十、课后反思
这是一节阅读写作课,本课的主要话题是旅游,是学生熟悉和喜欢的话题。本教学设计主要利用教师设计的各种阅读训练活动和阅读文章为信息载体,通过输入和输出的方式,使得学生感知并理解教学内容,并以此话题展开听、说、读、写的训练,培养学生的综合运用
语言技能。“让英语课堂离学生的现实生活更近些”是《英语课程标准》对英语教学提出的要求。本节课较好地抓住了这一有利时机,创造性地对教材内容进行处理,并在整个教学过程中落实对学生阅读英语策略的指导,让学生把学到的知识运用到实际当中,让学生学以致用。让课内的教学活动延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活中,并为学生提供了自主学习和相互交流的机会,以及充分表现自我和自我发展的空间。
阅读教学不是课外阅读,而是在教师的指导下,有目的有计划的教学活动。在不同的教学阶段,有不同的阅读教学目标和阅读教学内容。如何结合我们使用中的英语教材来有效地进行英语阅读教学是我们一直探索的问题。
