Unit 6 How do you feel? Part B Let’s talk

一、教学目标

1.

能听懂、理解Let’s try部分的录音内容，并回答两个问题，找出依据；

2.

能够理解并在实际情况中应用”What’s wrong?”

“Don’t be sad.”

“How...feel?”

知道关心他人，为他人提供解决不同情绪的方法；

通过文章的学习，认识到家庭的重要性，学会关心、爱护家人。

四、教学过程

(一)

Warm-up 1.

greetings with the students T: Hello, boys and girls, welcome to my English class!

Nice to see you again! Ss: Nice to see you, too! T: How do you feel today? S1:... S2:... T: Oh, you look a little nervous and afraid today! Don’t be afraid! Let’s stand up and sing a song together! 2. sing the song: If you’re happy, clap your hands. (二)

Lead-in T: How do you feel now? ... T: I’m happy that you all feel better now! We have different feelings at different time. （出示图片一）Look at the picture, who are they?

Ss: They’re Miss White and Chen Jie. T: How does Chen Jie feel now? What should she do? S1: She is ill. She should see a doctor. 出示对话，请两位同学读一读；让学生两人一组，根据其他三幅图片，分别写对话。

Presentation Let’s try

1.

听录音，选出你所听到的答案；

2.

师生核对答案；

3.

找出你所选答案的依据。

Let’s talk 分段播放本部分视频，并让学生回答若干问题：

1.

Watch and guess: good news or bad news；

2.

Watch and answer：What’s wrong with Sarah’s dad? What should he do? How does Sam feel now?通过答案让学生感受bad news给Sam 情绪带来的变化；

3.

Watch and find: How do you know that Sam is angry?分析Sam的面部表情、语音语调及动作得出答案；

4.

看最后一段视频，找出mum’s suggestion to Sam--Don’t be said. They can go next time. 以及How does dad feel now?多出示几幅图片帮助学生理解”Not well.”

Practice and consolidation 1.

请学生们小声跟读课文；

2.

出示本文阅读技巧，让学生进行角色扮演，并给他们评分。

(五)

Group-work Brainstorm: Will Sam go to the hospital with his familly?六人一组，表达自己的观点，并请组长阐释。

T:I think he will. Because they are families, they love each other and help each other.

引出family的一种解释：Father and mother, I love you! 请学生观看一组央视的公益广告，让学生从中感受到父母的付出、父母的不易，鼓励学生从小事做起关爱家人！
