Students Class One ,Grade 6 thThis period is the 4

period of Unit 6, which is aimed at Analysis enhancing students’

ability of using correct expressions in daily of the conversation. teaching material Students in Grade Six can understand the teacher’s order and Analysis of the react according to the teaching design. Students from class one have a good foundation of learning and speaking English. However, this is the fist time that the teacher meets the students, so the teacher should make great efforts to make students adapt to the new learning environment and take part in class activities.

Analysis of

Based on the curriculum criteria of this unit, the teacher adopts students the task-oriented teaching method\audio-lingual teaching method, communicative teaching method.

PowerPoint, multi-media, an ink pen, blackboard, flash and the record or video of the text. Step 1:warm up 1.

Greeting: Talk about the weather, it’s raining, how do you feel? Do you feel cold or warm? Self-introduction. 2.

Lead-in: sing a song “Two tigers”; then put the sentences “How do you feel ? are you happy?” into the melody of “two tigers”(compose)

Step 2:presentation 1.

Ask students to draw the facial expression (happy, sad, angry,

worried appeared in the song…) on the blackboard.

Show some picture of different facial expression and write the questions (how+ do /does +you/ I /she /he +feel )and answers( sb.+ feel/feels/ is +angry/ happy/ sad…).

Put the senesces together and ask student to conclude the rule. (How +do/does+主语+feel？

T: You did a very good job. 5.Let students read by themselves. Then repeat after the tape.(sentence by sentence). 6. Piont out the important language points and explain them to students. Show them examples. Step 3 practice 1.Fill in the blank (cover some important sentences of the text and them let students shout them out.) first group work then individual job

The audience wants to pour out his feelings. The anchor should listen and give suggestions. T: Can you write a short play according to the demand? For students in countryside, this period is a success for they have tried their best to take part in class activities and even think by Feedback themselves.

First of all, this class is designed to solve some problems, which has been solved during the class.

Students can understand the grammar “ should + verb” and

can master the ways

to ask and answer “feelings”. Secondly, for the teacher, faced with a new class and new students, she can make it as vivid as possible, which is a good try. Thirdly, the teacher adopts many multi-media

facilities，such as Flash, PowerPoint and video. Those measures help students understand the teaching aims very well and stimulate their interests in class activities. Last not least, students sing a song and compose in this period, which is a good way to practice their overall abilities. Also, the teacher indicates the students to care about others from time to time and think highly of their performance, from which we can see the teacher accomplished the teaching aims in class activities. While in order to make more progress, the teacher need practicing her way of praising students and making better PowerPoint in the future.
