Unit1 Feeling Sick The first period 一、Teaching objectives: 1.知识与技能目标：

1）learn new words: “headache , toothache , stomachache , cold , fever”

for four skills . 2）learn new sentences “What’s the matter with you ? I have a….” for four skills . And practice to say “What’s the matter with him / her ? He / she has a…”

3）Song activities. 2．情感目标：

1)进一步提高学生对英语的学习热情及学习兴趣。

2)鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂活动，大胆开口，主动模仿。

3）通过本课的学习，培养学生团结合作，学会和谐相处的品德。

3．能力目标：

引导学生积极参与小组活动，促进他们养成动脑、动口、动手的好习惯，初步形成主动学习的意识。

Step 2.Review （复习）：Review the words about body . Step 3.Learn new knowledge（学习新知识）: （一）Elicit to learn new unit7（引入）:

1.Show out the pictures about “ hospital”, T: What’s this place? (Ss: It’s a hospital.) What are they going to do ? (They’re going to see the doctor.) Right. What’s the matter with them?(show out some pictures about sick) He/she has a cold/ fever/ headache/ toothache/stomachache…. Today we learn Unit7: What’s the matter with you? (in this unit we will learn about the names of sick)

（二）Learn new five words: 1.T ：Hello,A! What’s the matter with you?(A act “headache” ,T touch A’s head) A: headache. T: Oh , you have a headache. Then shows out the picture about “headache” and listen to the sound ,

2.Then learn to say says : headache ,a headache . Oh,I have a headache .(act and say)(注意ache的发音：｜eik｜

) 3.Let sb act and say: “headache” and “I have a headache .”

4.Write it on the board and read again. 5.T ask : What’s the matter with you , xx? sb answers. 6.Show out the picture of “toothache”, let sb say out its sound, then T take to read it.

7. Act act and say by Ss. 8. Learn “stomachache, cold, fever” in the same way . (设计意图]通过活动和多媒体手段让学生加深对新单词的印象，进而掌握单词的听、说、读的能力。)

9. Listen and read the words together. 10.Practice to say with “They, we, you , he ,she, Tony…”

Fever, fever, We don’t have a fever. Yeah! 12.Play a game: T say out the words, Ss act ;When T say “Free”, then Ss stop quickly. Then look and say out the words quickly. (三)Learn new sentences : 1.T: What’s the matter with you ,xx ?

xx: I have a….. 2. Look at the picture and listen: What’s the matter with …..? 3. Let sb read the sentences, then read together. 4. Practice to say the sentences. 5. Pairwork. 6. Chant and do. Chant: How are you ?How are you ?（拍掌和轻敲桌子伴奏）

Oh , let’s go to see the doctor. （设计意图：这是一首极富有节奏的chant,读唱起来朗朗上口，学生感到新鲜、有趣，更容易进入学习状态。既可以调动学生情绪，渲染气氛，又可以复习前一课所学的内容，为新课的教学作好铺垫。）

7.Make scenes: (T: I am a doctor. You have a stomachache/ cold/ fever…. You want to go to see the doctor.)Let sb act and do .

Step4.Expanding: 1.Practice to say : What’s the matter with him/ her/ Gogo…? He/She has a….

[设计意图]通过教师对句型的点拨，学生学会自主思考，主动探究问题的能力得到提高，并且达到了学以致用的效果。

2. Play games:

1) T shows out a picture about “a boy or a girl”, and say what’s the matter with ____? If “a boy”, the girls stand and say out quickly): him , then point to the boys and say: He has a……

2) Let sb come to the board and act, the other guess to answer, the other asks: What’s the matter with him/ her/ Gogo…? The others answer. [设计意图]通过游戏，学生在快乐中对学习的难点就不知不觉地掌握了）
