Collecting stamps is my hobby. 青岛台东六路小学 辛欣格

Objectives: Knowledge aims: 1. All the students would be able to understand and read the key words , “collect”, “hobby”, “island”,”coconut”.

2. All the students would be able to understand and read the key sentences, “Collecting stamps is my hobby.”

3. Most students would be able to retell the passage about a stamp of Hainan Island depending on the blackboard design. Ability aims: 1. All the students would be able to imitate the text. 2. All the students would be able to know the process of writing a passage about a stamp. 3. Most students would be able to think deeply during the passage learning. Emotion aims: All the students would know how important a hobby had and how meaningful to all people. 

Teaching Procedures: 一.Warming Up 1.Revision Ask and answer between teachers and students. 通过师生间的问答,复习上节课学习的内容,为接下来的学习做好热身。

(复习旧知,为本节课的学习做好铺垫。)

二.Presentation Book 11Module 3Unit 2

1.Lead in 1) Talk about three pictures and learn the new phrase “a picture of”. 通过看图填空,看视频填空的形式学习新词组。

(通过和学生谈论课文前导图,帮助学生学习“a picture of”.) 2) Play a card game with students.通过抽卡片游戏,请学生描述卡片上的内容。

(通过抽卡片的游戏巩固“a picture of”的运用。) 2.Learn the text.

Learn the text by talking about pictures,watching CD-Rom and answering questions. 和学生交流课文里的图片,看CI-Rom 以及回答问题的方式学习新课文。

(采用多种途径的方式学习新知,孩子们更有兴趣的探索新知。) 三.Practise

1. Retell the text.

Discribe the picture of Hainan Island in groups. 通过板书上关键词的提示,教师引领学生复述全文,学生小组讨论后对板书上的海南岛这张邮票进行描述。

(帮助学生复述文本,从而练习并巩固文本的口语表达。) 2. Composition. Choose a stamp what you like and write a short passage about it.选择一张自己喜欢的邮票并写下来小组交流展示。

(进一步巩固本节课所要学习的语言结构。) 四.Consolidation and extension

1.Comprehension Lead students to read the passage of China’s first stamps. Then try to do some practice about it. 同位合作完成一篇关于中国第一张邮票的阅读,并通过4个判断练习了解学生的掌握情况,教师引导学生学习相关内容。 2.Talk about hobby. Lead students to talk about their hobbies and show them.

教师展示一段学生介绍自己爱好的视频,引导学生在小组中讨论自己的爱好并在全班同学面前展示。

(通过小组合作,在小组中讨论的方式,培养学生灵活综合运用语言进行交际的能力。) 五.Homework 1.Try to retell the text. 2.Write about your hobby and talk about it with your parents. 六.Blackboard Design Module3 Unit2 Collecting stamps is my hobby.
