(Aims: First, this step can help teacher learn more about students’ schedule. Then, students

can practice using “When do you...?”and “I... at....”. Last, this song can help students learn more what we usually do everyday. All of these can help them make a foundation for the later content.)

Step II

Listening (15mins) 1.Listen: You have a busy day , I have a busy day, so does our old friend, Tingting. She has a busy day, too. But today Tingting is very sad. Why? Because she forgets what to do. Can you help her? Please listen to the dialogue, and find out what does Tingting do everyday? (Aims: Setting a situation can inspire students’ motivation to learn more about Tingting’s day.)

2.Tell what do you hear from the dialogue.

What does Tingting do everyday?

She gets up.

She has breakfast.

She goes to school.

She has lunch.

She goes home.

She has dinner.

She does her homework.

She goes to bed. Methods: Ask students to listen and answer what does Tingting do everyday with the help of pictures. (Aims: Pictures can help students learn the third person singular form easily and interesting. So using picture is a very useful way to help teacher teach the new knowledge.)

3. Listen again: Thank you for your help. Now Tingting knows what to do. But she doesn't know the when to do. Can you help her again?
