Do some exercise to review the key words and phrases of Section A.

Step 2 Lead in

Go over six basic structures of simple sentences by doing some exercise. Step 3 Presentation

1. Part 2 Look at the pictures and make up sentences. Then discuss the sentences in groups to decide which sentence structures they belong to.

After that, check the answers in the whole class.

2. 1a&1b Listen to 1a and finish 1b.

3. Watch the flash of 1a and try to imitate in a low voice. Then finish 1c and check the answers in groups.

4. Explain the language points of 1a. Ask the students to take notes and memorize them by repeating.

5. Play the conversation for the third time and ask the students to follow it sentence by sentence. Then ask the students to role-play 1a in groups and invite one group of them to act it out.

6. 3a&3b Listen to the following words and sentences. Then try to imitate. Step 4

Complete the sentences with the proper forms of the given words. Then check the answers in groups. Step 5 Summary 1.
