一、Teaching contents：Book 6，Unit 3，P28 Story 二、Teaching Aims: 1、本节课要求学生能运用所学句型What are/is sb going to do?讨论和描述自己或他人的假期计划

2、准确理解story，正确朗读并表演好对话。

1、理解story，正确的朗读课文并进行角色扮演。

2、能掌握并在情境中运用句型What are/is sb going to do?讨论和描述自己或他人的假期计划

四、Teaching difficult points: the Great Wall of China, do tai chi等生词

五、Teaching aids:：多媒体课件

六、Teaching Procedure: Step 1 Before-reading 1. Greetings 2. Review: Ask and answer with the sentences “What are you going to do during the vacation? / I’m going to…”

(To have a revision of the words and sentences Ss learned in period 1&2) Step 2 While-reading 1. Lead-in: Guess “What are Jenny and Gogo going to do during the

vacation?”

2. Show the story. Then tick the words. (Have Ss watch the video and find out the new words in the story.) 3.Learn the new words “the Great Wall of China”, “do tai chi”

4. Watch the video again and fill the blanks. Then check the answers together. 5. Listen to the tape and pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat the story. 6.Give Ss a few minutes to practice the story in a group. 7.Have a role play. Step 3 After-reading 1.Finish the passage and retell the story

2. Try to write. (Write about Jenny’s (or Gogo’s) or your vacation plan.) 3. Report their vacation plans. Step 4 Summary Summary what we have learnt today. Step 5 Homework Write about your or your friends’ vacation plan.（写写你的或者你朋友的假期计划。）
