Module 3 Famous People Unit8 Robin Hood

一、教学内容分析:

本课以谈论Robin Hood为topic,结合一些描写人物的句型,学习如何运用所学的语言知识谈论某些名人的情况。

二、教学对象分析:

通过Unit 7的学习,学生已初步了解了一些中外名人的事迹,学习和掌握了一些描写人物的句子和词汇,能够运用一些简单的英语谈论某人。

三、教学目标:

1、语言技能:

(1)能正确流利地朗读对话和诗歌,部分学生能表演对话及背诵诗歌。

(2)能运用所学的语言知识谈论Robin Hood及其他一些名人。

2、语言知识:

(1)“四会”掌握下列词汇clever, brave, forest, the poor, rich, the rich, nobody, wood, full of; “三会”掌握

‘cos=because。

(2)巩固和运用的一般过去时的句型,如:

a. He was a clever and brave man. b. He took from the rich and gave to the poor. (3)能理解对话和诗歌的意思,感受英语诗歌的节奏与压韵。

3、情感目标:

通过学习和了解侠盗罗宾汉的故事,教育学生做个乐于助人,勇敢正直的好少年。

4、学习策略:

(1)通过课前布置学生阅读罗宾汉的故事,让学生感知、了解要学习的内容。

(2)通过游戏,激发学生参与语言操练的兴趣。

(3)利用学生好奇的心理学习对话。

四、教学重点:

(1)“四会”及“三会”词汇的学习。

(2)对话的学习。

(3)复习一般过去时的句型及其运用。

五、教学难点:

(1)运用所学的语言知识谈论某人。

(2)诗歌某些句子的理解。

教学过程:

一、Leading-in 1、chant 2、出示一些名人照片(如***,周恩来,孙中山,邓小平)

Who are they? What do you know about them? 二、Presentation and practice 1、T: We have learned much about the famous historical persons. Today let’s talk about an English hero. His name is Robin Hood (板题)。

Show a picture: Did you see this film? Do you want to know anything about him? Now, let’s watch the video.(播放电影片段)

Show the picture of Robin Hood, talk about Robin Hood with the pupils.(教学新单词)

Did you read the story about Robin Hood? People began to talk about him in the 14th

century. (1 century=100 hundred years) Do you know what kind of person he was? He was an English hero. He was a clever and brave man. Where did he live in? He lived in the forest with his friends. Nobody could find him. Why?
