Lesson 8 Is she short or tall ? 教材分析

本课的话题为“个人情况”（Personal information），学生在本课可以学到一些对人或事物进行描述的词汇，如：young, ugly, pretty等。要求学生围绕这类单词，在一定的情景下，能正确使用并能进行交谈。

学情分析

通过复习形容词，复习一般疑问句再导入选择疑问句。同学们在本课要学会围绕“个人情况”（Personal information），这一话题用英语进行交际，学习并巩固本课的语言结构。让学生能将所学内容与生活实际联系起来，真正运用到生活中去 教学目标 新课程强调知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观三个角度的有机结合，本着这样的认识，我对本课设计了如下教学目标：

1. 掌握主题句型为选择疑问句。

2. 通过自由对话，表演等教学活动，培养学生学习英语积极的情感态度。

3. 通过活动、游戏学生能产生学习英语的兴趣；学生能敢于、乐于、善于

开口讲英语，积极参与交流，树立学好英语的自信心。

以上三个教学目标与知识与能力，过程与方法，情感态度与价值观三维目标一一对应。

教学重点和难点

从课题内容的整体安排来看，教材充分体现了由易到难，由浅入深的安排，符合学生的认知规律。本课时主要通过听、说、读等语言实践活动，帮助学生获得良好的语言基础、初步的语感和用英语进行简单的日常交流的能力。 重点：掌握主题句型为选择疑问,并能用替换词造句和做出正确回答。

难点：能在日常生活中运用选择疑问句获取别人的个人信息。

教学过程：
