三、Teaching Procedure

1.Warm-up Sing an English

song :《London bridge is falling down.》

2.Lead in

Teacher takes photos when students are singing .

Teacher: Boys and girls, what am I doing?

Students: You’re taking photos. Teacher: Yes, I like taking photos. I want to keep beautiful moments.I have got some photos here and I want to share with you. (Teacher shows some photos of pictures and describes them with be+v.ing )

Teacher: I have got some of your photos. Do you want to have a look? (Teacher shows pupils’

photos and ask them to try.) 3.New lesson

(1)Look and say

Teacher: Our friend Daming likes taking photos too. Here is a photo of him.Let’s have a look. What can you see? What are they doing? (2)Listen and fill in the blanks.

(3)Listen to the tape and underline be+v.ing.

(4)Listen and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

(5)Students try to describe the photo.

4.Consolidation

(1)Students show their photos and can work in groups.

(2)Students perform.

四．Extension

Teacher presents another photo and students try to write a short passage with be+v.ing.

五．Homework

Choose one of your favourite photos and write a passage with be+ v.ing.
