1. 能听懂、会说、会读电话用语：This is …speaking.以及May I speak to…? 2. 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语How are you?及其相应的回答：I’m fine, thank you./Not so good. I’m sorry to hear that.

3. 能听懂、会说、会读单词：cold，fever 教学重点:

1. 能听懂、会说、会读电话用语：This is …speaking.以及May I speak to…? 2. 能在情境中正确运用日常交际用语How are you?及其相应的回答I’m fine, thank you./Not so good. I’m sorry to hear that.

教学难点: 1. 正确使用电话用语This is …speaking.以及May I speak to…? 2. 正确掌握单词fever，cough，hear的读音。

教学过程：

Step 1.

Warm up: 1. Introduction: （教师作自我介绍，增加亲和力,激发学生的学习兴趣。）

T：Good morning, boys and girls. I’m Mr Huang. I’m your new English teacher . I’d like to be your friend. Today we are going to have an English lesson together. Let’s try our best. OK?（引导学生回答：OK.）

2. Sing a song :《How are you》

T: Can you give the song a title? S: How are you. T: Yes,today we will learn Unit 8 How are you?出示课题。并教学

出示课程目标learning aims T:Oh，I’m glad to hear that we are all fine. But our friend Yang ling is not fine.

It’s seven forty in the morning. She can’t come to school. 教学：come to school

Step 2. Presentation. What’s the matter with Yang Ling Let’s watch and choose.

T: Let’s ask her :What’s the matter?

I have a cold and a fever.教学：a cold 和a fever Yang Ling is ill . She can’t go to school .So she call Miss Li. Do you know :how to make a call? Let’s look. 教学电话用语：

Hello, this is … speaking.

May I speak to …? Hello, this is … speaking.

师生之间开始操练。

Step 3Read and answer T: Yang Ling has a cold and a fever.

What does Miss Li say to her?

Miss Li听到Yang Ling生病说了些什么？

自读课文P50，然后“____”划出答案。新授：I’m sorry to hear that. Take care.

读左半部分课文.请同学上台指出所划的句子，分开学习两句句子。

T: If you are Miss Li ,can you read the sentence?(操练的更丰富生动) T：1.Let’s read the text after the tape. 2.Read by yourself. 3. Read together.

Step 4 Watch and answer T：Well done. Yang Ling calls Miss Li. And we know she has a cold and a fever. Now it’s four o’clock in the afternoon. Miss Li is calling to Yang Ling. 出示时间，下午4点。T：Miss Li is calling to Yang Ling. Let’s watch and answer my two questions. Q1. How is Yang Ling now?

杨玲现在怎么样了？

Q2. Can she come to school tomorrow（明天）? 教学：tomorrow T: How is Yang Ling now? S: She is .. T: How do you know?(追问并读句子) T：Can she come to school tomorrow? S：Yes，she can. T：How do you know?(追问并读句子)

T：Oh, I’m glad to hear that Yang Ling can come to school tomorrow. Let’s show the happy mood. Let’s act the dialogue.(两人分角色表演)

Step 5Read and imitate the story 1）T：Can you read the text now? Let’s try. 齐读；12组，34组分角色读；学生，老师分角色读。

2）Let’s act 男女生分角色；学生，老师分角色读。

Step 6. Consolidation. 设置情境：电话铃响了，Who？Su Yang. Su Yang is Yang Ling’s friend. She misses Yang Ling. So she calls to Yang Ling.

两人一组，一人饰演Su Yang，电话里询问Yang Ling她明天能不能来学校上课吧！

Step7. Homework: 1. Read and recite the story. 2. Try to call your friends to invite them to go to the park this Sunday in English.
