本单元是外研版英语三年级起点六年级下册第二模块第一单元。本单元的新词不多，学生容易接受。本课的课文主要围绕Simon一家人野餐这个话题展开的一系列教学活动。利用教材创设的情境，引出三组对话来练习一般将来时态。并通过“When be…going to…?”这一句型，询问野餐开始的时间，从而复习了时间表达法，使学生温故而知新。

知识目标：

（1）能够听说认读单词和词组later、

duck、

pond、cloud、dry、like、look like、stay。

（2）能够听说认读并运用句型when+be +主语+going to…?及其答语at+时间。

能力目标：

（1）能熟练运用when构成的一般将来是的特殊疑问句。

（2）掌握本模出现的日常交际用语，培养良好的语言交流能力。

（3）让学生分角色表演对话，培养他们团结协作的能力。

情感态度目标：

通过家人一起野餐的活动，拉近家人之间的距离。

文化意识目标：

了解汉语和英语之间在表述事物时的区别，使学生能够更好地掌握英语，达到熟练运用的目的。

教学重点：

熟练掌握一般将来时态

be going to…的用法及用when构成的特殊疑问句。

教学难点：

能运用句型when be… going to …?造句子，并给出不同的活动时间进行回答。

教学过程：

Warm up and lead –in T: Hello boys and girls. Let’s sing a song together. (Sing the song---What’s the time? And do the actions. ) T: Look! What time is it? (学生回答时间)。I am going to have lunch at 11:30. What’s your plan? Do you want to know what is Simon going to do? （出示PPT）

Let’s watch the video.(学生观看后回答问题)。

Task presentation T: Today we will come to M2U1 When are we going to eat? (板书课题)Try to use “be going to ”. Then talk about your weekend plan.

Text learning

T: 课件出示图片：Look! Where are they? (学生猜答)。

a. (第一遍听音) What are they going to do? Look and answer. (学生观看后回答问题)。

b. (第二遍听音) Later, what will be happened? (teach later). Let’s watch it again. And answer the questions.
