1、认读并背诵本课时的词汇、短语及句型。

2、能够进一步练习和巩固现在进行时的用法。

3、会描述正在做一件事的同时，另一件事也在发生。

4、学会用but表示转折。

5、乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。

三．教学重难点

1、能够听、说并认读单词play, third, time, bark, loudly和短语：have a birthday party ,play the suona, come in, for the third time, bark very loudly。

2、会用现在进行时描述正在做一件事，并会用but表示转折。

Step 1 Warm-up Free talk. T: Class begins.Good afternoon,boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon,teacher.

1. T: Daming is having a birthday party . Let’s go and see together. Today we’ll learn more about Module 5 Unite 1. 2. 板书课题Module 5 Unite 1 He’s playing the suona, but the phone rings.指导学生跟读。

Step 3 Presentation 1.T: Before the class, let’s listen some songs. Listen carefully and guess what musical instrument you have heard?(播放PPT音乐) 教师指导学生听PPT音乐，并询问What musical instrument have you heard? 引导学生回答出piano, guitar, erhu并展示各乐器对应图片及音乐。

2.教师询问学生喜欢什么乐器，并提问Daming在生日派对上演奏什么乐器？指导学生读课文并寻找答案。

3.提问学生回答，教师板书关键词：play the suona并总结play的用法。

4.教师领读，学生模仿语音语调。

5.教师指导学生看PPT图片，并引导学生描述一件事情正在发生时，另一件事也发生了。
