A Person I Love Ⅰ.Teaching aims：

1.

Knowledge aims: By the end of the class, students should master some sentences and phrases as follows: The person I love is ...; He/She has... with...; He/She wears...; He/She works as.../His or her job is...; He/She is really hard-working（工作努力的）/patient（耐心的）/kind / cheerful（开心的）/smart/responsible（负责任的）/successful(成功的）/warm-hearted（热心的）/serious（严肃的）. 2.

Ability aims: By the end of the class, students should be able to describe the person he/she loves in a more organized way by paragraphing. Paragraph 1 describes who is the person and what he/she looks like. Paragraph 2 writes he/she does. Paragraph 3 explains the reasons.

Emotional aims:

By the end of class, students should be willing to show their love to the person he/she loves.

Ⅱ.Teaching important and difficult points: Some sentence structures, like “The person I love is ...; He/She has... with...; He/She wears...; He/She works as.../His or her job is...; He/She is really hard-working（工作努力的）/patient（耐心的）/kind / cheerful（开心的）/smart/responsible（负责任的）/successful(成功的）/warm-hearted（热心的）/serious（严肃的）.”

Ⅲ. Teaching procedures: Step 1: Lead-in (5 min) Some guessing games and the answers are the persons students are very familiar with. ⑴She is a girl in our class. She is a good helper of mine. She is one of the tallest（最高的）

girls in our class. She is good at dancing and playing the piano. She has long black hair before, but now her hair is short. ⑵He is a lovely boy and we all like him. He is friendly and likes to help others. He studies seriously（认真地）and sets a good example (树立好榜样）for us. He always keeps his dormitory（宿舍）clean and tidy. ⑶He is very hard-working (工作努力的）

and considerate（细心的）. He is good at analyzing datas (分析数据）and solving problems（解决问题）. He keeps company with ( 陪伴）you on school days. Although he is angry with you sometimes, he wishes you to become better and better (越来越好）all the time (一直）.
