一.教材分析

本课选自《新标准英语》六年级下册,第四模块第一单元的第一课时,属新授课。教材主要教学内容是说明场景、寻求帮助。第一单元的课文情境是Simon 的妈妈去超市买东西,为Daming准备生日聚会。她买了很多东西,就问Daming和Simon 谁能来帮忙拿。Simon 无法帮忙,因为他正在打电话。Daming跑来帮忙,结果不小心将橘子撒了一地,气球也飞走了。Simon让大家看气球上的文字,上面写着祝福Daming 生日快乐。大家开心地笑了。

二.学情分析

六年级的学生已经学了三年的英语,有了一定的英语基础,但学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化比较严重。另外本班学生的英语基础知识掌握比较扎实,但学生性格比较内向,不善于表达。所以在设计教学时应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,因材施教,分层教学,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。尽量采用新颖活泼有趣的教学形式进行教学,保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

三.教学目标

(一)知识目标: 能够听说读写四会单词和重点句型

掌握目标句子:Who can help me? I can help you. Sorry, I can’t. I am on the phone. (二)能力目标:运用Who can help me? I can help you. Sorry, I can’t. I am on the phone.这类语句寻求帮助和提供帮助。 (三)情感目标:积极运用所学知识及重点句型在日常生活中流畅的帮助他人,关心他人。 四.教学重点难点

教学重点: 运用Who can help me? I can help you. Sorry, I can’t. I am on the phone.这类语句寻求帮助和提供帮助。

教学难点: 能够简单说明不能提供帮助的原因,如:I’m on the phone. My…is broken.等等

五.教学方法:PPT课件 情境教学法 任务教学 小组合作

六.教具准备:

录音 教学卡片 彩笔(4个橙子及气球图片 3个人物头像及头饰)

5个气球 1个电话图片 1个生日盒子图片

七.教学过程

Step 1:Greetings T:Good morning, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning ,Miss Cai . T:How are you ? Ss: I’m fine, thank you! And how are you? T:I’m fine too, thank you! 【设计意图】:通过师生间的相互问候,拉近与学生的距离,使学生更好的进入状态,参与课堂。

Step 2:Lead in 1.T: After learning the new text we are going to talk about help and act .Today we will have a competition .I will divide you into three groups. After class, let’s see who is the winner. 【设计意图】:把全班分成三大组,以小组形式采取竞争方式来设立奖励机制,使得学生能够积极活跃参与课堂,充分调动学生积极性。

2.导入课题

T: look at the PPT, what’s this? Ss: 气球

T:Yes,clever.It’s a balloon.(拿出卡片,教读,男生女生读

,小组读,列行读,升降调读) And what are these?(指着PPT上的很多气球说) Ss:They are balloons. T: Look !What’s happening to the balloons?(PPT 出示许多气球飞走画面) Ss:The balloons are flying away. T:Today we are going to learn M4U1 The balloons are flying away.(板书)

【设计意图】:使用本节课相关实物气球图片直接呈现课题,并直观明了帮助学生更好的理解课题。

Step 3:Presentation 1.

创设情境,呈现新知

T:First, let’s chant. Look at the screen. Follow me and do the actions. T:Chant again and do the actions quickly and loudly. T:You clap slowly and I chant .(教师能跟上节拍很好的说唱) T:You clap more and more quickly ,I chant. Oh ,dear! I can’t say it quickly. Who can help me?(老师做出为难夸张的表情,向学生求助)(板书) Ss:I can help you.(表扬并板书) T:Ask one student (who can’t help me) to answer. If you can’t, you can say “ Sorry, I can’t”.(板书) 【设计意图】:利用课本上的活动一的说唱来创设一个简单的真实情境,使得学生更能感受本课的重点句型,能激发学生的表达欲望。

T:let’s talk about the picture. Who are they? Where are they? Ss:They are Simon and Daming. They are at home. T:What are they talking about? Do you want to know? Let’s listen to the tape and answer some questions: Q1:Where is Simon’s mum? Q2:What is she doing?(listen again and check the answers.) (2)Daming helps Simon's mum.

T:Show a picture. She’s Simon’s mum. She bought lots of things. What’s this? What are they? What are these? Ss:A cake. Oranges. Some balloons.

T:Yes,she can’t carry everything. She needs help. Now let’s listen and answer some questions: Q1:Who can help mum?(张贴Simon’s mum 的头像) Q2:What is Simon doing?(张贴Simon 的头像) Q3:What can Daming do? T:Check the answers: A1:Daming.(张贴Daming的头像) A2:He is on the phone.(板书on the phone并且贴电话图片) A3:He can carry this box.(板书并贴生日盒子) (3)Simon helps mum.

T:Look,they are oranges and balloons. Now let’s listen .What’s happening to the oranges/balloons?(贴橙子及气球图片) T:Check the answers: A1:The oranges are falling.(出示卡片并教读,卡片掉落来帮助学生理解falling)(板书用虚线来解释falling) T:Ask the Ss to make sentences with “falling”

St1:My pen is falling. St2:The books are falling. A2:The balloons are flying away.(板书用示意图表示) 【设计意图】:通过一系列提问的方式,层层递进,使得学生更深次的理解课文大意,并且通过板书示意图及图文结合帮助学生更好的理解并掌握课文。

Step3:Practice 1. I will give some pictures and give some examples then discuss in groups.(six in a group) eg. My books are falling. Who can help me? Sorry, I can’t.

I can help you. 【设计意图】:通过给出任务,小组讨论,激发学生的兴趣,调动学生的积极性,学生参与面广,同时能够提高学生思维敏捷性,大胆开口说。

2. Give a text and fill in the blank.(小组讨论)

Mum is at the supermarket. She’s ___(buy/buying)things for Daming’s birthday. She can’t ______(carry/carrying) everything. Simon is _____(in/on) the phone. He ______(can/can’t) help mum. Daming can help _____ (she/her).But later, the oranges _____(is/are/am) falling. The balloons are flying ______(along/away). But the balloons say,“Happy birthday, Daming.”

【设计意图】:通过这种方式使学生在任务型的驱动下,进一步培养合作交流能力。

3. I take out some balloons and blow them. But I can’t blow, who can help me? Ask some Ss to come to the front and help me. And then make a situation :My balloon is falling. Who can help me ? 【设计意图】:通过这个游戏,让学生大量操练句子,并且在游戏中体会乐中学,学中乐,激发学生的兴趣。 4. Daming is a kind boy. Can you ? Try to make a show about helping others.(three in a group)

A:I can’t do /see/carry/find/…… Who can help me? B:Sorry , I can’t. I’m ……

C: I can help you. 【设计意图】:通过表演模拟的教学方式,让学生在表演中充分的发挥想象和创造力,去感受帮助别人时的快乐,使课堂所学得到更好延伸,并达到学以致用。

Which group is the winner? 【设计意图】: 让学生对这堂课所学知识回顾,使得学生对新知掌握更牢固。另外对整堂课学生的整体表现综合评价及时表扬,作出反馈,更有利于学生了解自己表现,有利于下次教学。

Retell the text. 【设计意图】:合理利用身边资源,激发学生的学习动机,及体会真情实感。

Step6:Blackboard design

教学反思:

本堂课的教学设计主要关注全体学生的学习和发展,让学生在活动中参与体验,理解并运用所学知识。本课提供小组合作的方式,及游戏的设计交叉运用在整个课堂中,学生的学习兴趣浓厚,注意力集中。尤其是帮助老师吹气球的游戏环节,学生特别积极。本课的难点主要是表达为啥需要帮助,并表演出来。学生基本能够表达,也能够表演出来,但是部分学生仅限于课文中的The oranges are falling. My books are falling. My kite is falling .Who can help me?这样的思维中,学生的想象力没有发挥极致,如:My car is broken. I’m short. I can’t clean my classroom.等等这样的情境,他们很少想出来并表达。

其次,小组合作整堂课设计多次,有三人一组,有六人一组,大部分学生比较不错,对于少数基础薄弱的学生难以开口,达不到小组合作探究的设计的目的和效果。在今后还得要具体分工明确,把简单任务的分给他们。今后在自己的教学课堂及教案设计中不断反思,让学生尽可能乐中学,学中乐。
