1. Students focus their attention on the teacher. 2. Teacher show her own experience about visiting Tian’anmen Square. And let students to plan Beijing tour. Show a video about flag-raising ceremony, let students have a real vision of Tian’anmen 二次备课

Introduction Square and the great buildings around it. 3. Students from different groups talk about their own view.

4. Students enjoy the pictures of Tian’anmen Square. Learn the new words by the leading of the teacher.

1. Students look at the picture of 1a and prepare for the learning of 1a. 2. Students watch the flash of 1a to catch the general idea of the conversation.

3. Students check their answers with the teacher. Presentation 4. Students watch the flash again, underline and grasp the new words. 5. Students discuss in groups to find out the difficult points and sum up the main points. 6. Students underline in their books and make some notes.
