教学内容:Unit 4 I have a new friend (第1课时) 课前反思:在前三单元的学习中,学生已经掌握了使用形容词对人物(家庭成员)进行描述、句型及问答,这将有利本课I have a new friend的学习。

教学目标:

知识目标:

1、To enable students listen, read and use the sentences :

I have a new friend. who is my friend?. 2、To make students listen ,read and write the words: young , beautiful ,clever and thin. 3、The pronunciations of the letter Oo. 能力目标:

1、Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can listen,read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context.

2、Through learning the whole text ,we can let the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class.

情感目标:

Let students help each other.

教学重点:

To make students use the sentence: Is she beautiful? /young?/kind? Yes ,she is. 教学难点:

The usage of “look like…”.Is this …? 教材分析:本单元选自2013辽师版四年级英语下Unit4 I have a new friend.本单元主要围绕着介绍和询问他人的情况展开,要求学生了解和运用介绍和询问他人的基本表达方式。使学生多交朋友,注意观察身边的人,并借以激发学生学习语言的兴趣和用英语表达的愿望。

学情分析:四年级学生由于学过一年的英语已经有了一定的基础,而且课文中介绍朋友的句子:I have a new fried, she is from the UK已经在第一课学习并背诵过了,课文的句子除了新词以外都学习过,所以学生将会很容易的跟着老师的导入进入课文,进而通过这些熟悉的句子学习本节课内容

教具准备: word cards, courseware,books, teaching tools. 教学时间:2课时

教学流程:(14步)

一、复习检测(man, woman, tall, strong, short. )

二、新课传授

1.巧妙导入:T: I have three new friends.Look!

2.引出主题:T: Look ! They are my new friends. Let’s get to know them.

3.解决难点:

一、Words and Sentences Study (1). T: Look at my friends! who is tall?(高)…who is short(矮)? Ss: _____ is tall/ ______ is short. T: Yes, you are right. Can you find ,who is young? S1: ______ is young. T: Yes, you are clever. (2). Listen! She is from USA. Her name is Shelly. She’beautiful.

She is from USA. Her name is Ann. She’s fat.(胖)but she’s clever.

He is from England. His name is Tom. He is thin. (3). Now can you match them. Shelly clever Ann thin Tom beautiful (4)Look!Is she beautiful? Yes, she is? Look!Is she clever? Yes, she is. Look!Is she thin? Yes, he is.

(5)Practice. Ask and answer. 4.听音感知: Listen to the tape and try to choose the right answers you’ve heard.

5.默读初始:Read silently and answer the questions. Is she tall? 6.朗读探知:Read loudly and fill in the blanks in groups. 7.听音跟读:Listen and try to read after the tape. Look!Who is he? Can you say?(出示PPT) Practice. Filling blanks and say it. 8.角色朗读:小组读、男女读、师生对读、角色读。

9.留白处理:留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。

10.短文示范:

T: I have a new friend.

My friend I have a new friend. She is from Japan.

Her name is Takuya. Is she tall? Yes, she is. Is she thin? No, she isn’t.

Do you like her? 11.学生仿写:(Students can imitate it and try to write it down.) 12.课堂小结:
