一、

教学目标

1.

能在实际情景中运用“What are they? They are….”句型。

2.

能听懂、会说、拼写动物类单词ducks，pigs，sheep，cows，geese。

3.

能区分农场里的常见动物和其他动物，并了解其英文复数形式。

4.

通过学习动物的知识，激起学生对大自然的热爱。

教学重点：掌握What are they？They are…句型。

教学难点：准确掌握动物名词的复数形式。

课前准备

一些动物单词卡片、一个盒子、相关PPT 四、教学步骤

1.Warming up 1）Greetings 2）sing a song. T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today?Are you happy today? …. I’m happy too. Let’s listen to a song, OK? Ss: Ok. (Listen to the English song Old Macdonald Had a Farm ) T: Wow, this is really a lively farm. Is it? What animals do you hear?

Do you like animals? Today let’s go to the farm together. T：There are many animals on this farm. Let’s see what are they? (出示课题What are they？) 2.presentation (1)课件呈现duck，T边画边问：What is it？Ss答：It is a duck. T再呈现一只，询问：What are they? Ss答：They are ducks. 师生一起数，one duck ，two ducks (2)板画pigs，板书并询问：What are they？Ss答：They are pigs. 师生一起数，one pig， two pigs (3)课件呈现一只绵羊，T询问：Look！What is it？Ss答：It is a sheep. 课件呈现一群绵羊，询问What are they？Ss答：They are sheep. T：How many sheep can you see? Let’s count together. One sheep , two sheep….. Here sheep is a special word. So we can’t change anything in this word. They are the same. (4)课件呈现空旷的农场，T：There is an animal here. Listen and guess, what is it？ S：It’s a cow. 再多呈现几只，T：What are they？ Ss：They are cows. (5)Listen and guess（听音辩词）

T: There are some lovely animals. Listen and guess their

voice. Let’s have a try.(听音，训练What are they？They are…) (6)T: Look at this picture. Do you know them? Are they ducks? Ss: No, they are not ducks. T: What are they? Do you want to know? Let’s listen to the tape together. Find out the answer. （听课文音频）

Who knows the answer? S: They are geese. （7）T范写句子，学生写句子。

（8）呈现两只鹅，问What are they? 学生回答：They are geese. 呈现一只鹅，问What is it? 引导学生说出：It is a goose. 学生说出区别，讲解goose→geese，以及两个词的发音变化。

3.Drills (1)T: I have a box here. There are some animals in it. Now I pick one card. Look！What are they？

Ss：They are…

T: Good! Who wants to pick and ask others? You pick one card and ask, the whole class answer your question. （2）读词，总结单词变复数的规律，以及发音的规律。

（3）T: Let’s listen to the tape once more. （听两次，第二次跟读）

（5）T：Look！There is a beautiful farm. And on this farm, there are many lovely animals. Look at the picture, and talk about the animals with your partner. 4.Consolidation T: Here are some riddles.
