一.教学目标

1.通过学习,学生能听,说,读,写本单元学习的关于动物的单词以及它们的复数形式:ducks, pigs, sheep, cows,geese。

2.能够区分农场里的常见动物和其他动物。

3, 通过学习,学生能在实际情景中运用What are they? They are…句型。

4.通过学习动物的知识,激发学生热爱大自然,保护动物。

二.学情分析

本课四年级下册第七单元第一课时,是在学生学习过一些简单动物单词的基础上,认读并且熟练应用动物单词复数形式,并简单问答:what are they ? They are ......学生在经过一年半的学习对英语已经有了一些基础和学习方法,再加上学过很多动物单词,我制作了可爱的教具,制作了动态课件,设计了五彩斑斓的板书来吸引他们,学生对于新鲜的事物会产生浓厚的兴趣,更容易引领学生进入到我所设计的情景教学中来。孩子们会乐此不疲地参加各种小组活动和教学游戏中来,并且小组竞争会使他们为了集体荣誉更加努力,也会让淘气的孩子们全神贯注地投入到学习中。

三.重点难点

1.重点:掌握What are they? They are…句型

2.难点:掌握动物名词的复数形式,注意sheep单复数同型。

4.1 第一学时

4.1.1教学活动

活动1【导入】1.

Warming-up

(1)Let’s sing a song together, and when you sing this song, think about this question: what animals can you see on the farm? 通过唱歌激发孩子们的学习兴趣,歌词帮助孩子们复习旧知。

(2) Now, please tell me, what animals did you see? So we can see a chick, a duck, a pig. 孩子们通过歌曲回忆起了动物名词的单数形式,为本节课的新知,动物复数的学习打下了基础。

活动2【讲授】2.Presentation

(1) Now, let’s go to old Macdonald’s farm. We can see more animals. On the blackboard, there is also old Macdonald’s farm. 创设大情境:今天我们一起去麦克先生的农场参观。

(2) Look, this is old Macdonald’s farm. Listen and try to guess what is the first animal? What is this? Oh, it’s a duck. Let’s count. One duck, two ducks, three ducks, four ducks, five ducks. 教授新词ducks游戏操练并练习新句型What are they? They are ducks. 师生板书单词ducks。

(3)listen to the tape about the sound of the pig. Guess: what are they? You are so clever, they are pigs.

教授新词pigs游戏操练并练习新句型What are they? They are…师生板书单词pigs. (4)what are they? Let’s listen.

教授新词cows游戏操练并练习新句型What are they? They are cows.师生板书单词cows。

(5) listen to the tape about the sound of the sheep. 教授新词sheep游戏操练并练习新句型What are they? They are sheep. 师生板书单词sheep。

(6) listen to the tape about the sound of the geese. 教授新词geese游戏操练并练习新句型What are they? They are geese.师生板书单词和句型。

(7)Let’s play a game. Look, what are they? They are … Who can come here? Do this, just like me. 3-4名同学到黑板前面像老师一样操练刚学习的句子和单词。

(8)教师拿起鸭子的图片和鹅的图片,问” What are they?”引导学生思考。

Now ,xiaohui ,linda and their classmates are visiting the farms,too.what are they talking about? Let us listen to the tape and try to answer “What are they? Ducks or geese?” Open your book, page38. books up。

自然流畅过渡到课本,回归教材。
