Rao Houyun Teaching Aims: 1.Master the key words and phrase：go on a picnic, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman。

2. Master the sentence “Which season do you like best?” and answer it correctly. Key points: 1.Master the phrases：go on a picnic, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman。

2. Master the sentences “I often go on a picnic/…with my family.”

Difficult points: The students can use the sentence of “Which season do you like best? And say why? Teaching Aids:

Text book, power point, a video clip, listening recording, some cards. Teaching Procedure: Step 1:Warm-up 1.Song：What’s your favourite season?

2.Show the cards with some words：season, spring, summer, autumn, winter。

3.Review：

T: Which season do you like best? Ss: Winter/… I like snow./It’s pretty.(practice them again and again) 4.Play a game that about the new words. Step 2: Presentation 1.Learn the phrases: go on a picnic，go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman. 2. Learn the sentences:

T: Which season do you like best?

Ss: I like Spring best .There are beautiful flowers everywhere. I often go on a picnic with my family.(train the sentences after change the phrases.) 3.Listen to the tape and read it again. Step 3：Consolidation and extension1.Ask and answer. A: Which season do you like best?

B: Winter. I often play in the snow. 2. Mike sentences I like spring best. I often plant flowers./I like summer best. I can go swimming./…

3.The teacher gives the students some pictures that there is a new word on each of the paper. And asks them to act the conversations.
