一、教学目标：

a. 语言功能：谈论动物的生活习性和不同人与动物的睡眠习惯。

b. 语言结构：一般现在时。

c. 语言知识目标：1.学生能够会听，说，读，写并会运用本模块单词及短语bamboo,gave,its,almost, deaf, frightened, sh,fox,at night. 2. 学生能够理解，运用本模块的目标语句Pandas love bamboo. A child sleeps for ten hours a night. d. 语言技能目标：

学生能运用已学语言谈论动物的生活习性，谈论不同人与动物的睡眠习惯。

c. 情感态度目标：1. 提高学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生的自信。

2. 培养学生合作学习，交流能力。

二、教学重、难点：

教学重点：巩固复习行为动词的一般现在时的用法。

教学难点：运用一般现在时介绍自己最喜欢的动物，并能在真实的语境中运用。

三、学生分析：

学生在四年级学习过动物的生活习性，在本模块学习了熊猫和蛇两个动物的生活习性，对于学过的单词和目标语句掌握的较好。在此基础上复习本课的知识，以学生的生活经验为出发点，拓宽学生的思维，让学生们能够正确熟练地运用，培养学生的能力。

四．教学过程

Step1. Revision and lead in 1.

Greeting: ---Hello! Boys and girls!---Hello, Miss Li! 2.

Sing a chant: This is an old owl!（M7U2的chant）

Answer my questions: Where does the old owl live？

What does the old owl like?

Free talk:

T: There are many animals. What’s your favourite animal? My favourite festival is _____.(设计意图：通过对M7U2的韵句听说，回答问题并了解了owl的生活习性，再通过free talk 引入本课的复习内容跟动物有关。)

Step2. Task presentation Task: We’re going to review Module 7 and talk about your favourite animals. (说明评价机制:郎氏加分法)Step3. Practice

1. T: Today let’s go to the zoo, Welcome to the zoo,Do you want to be a good tour guide?Can you read them?(设计意图：把M7的两篇课文进行整合，让学生以小导游的身份来介绍动物园的动物)

2. T: There are three animals. What are they?----They’re pandas,snakes and a fox.

3.Try to fill in the tables.(出示题单，进行选择填空，然后小组讨论并汇报)

4. T: When you talk about your favourite animals, you can describe it according to these words

T: Choose one animal and try to describe it according to the table.(根据表格，描述动物)

5.总结板书在描述动物时从哪些方面着手，并总结一般现在时，并做题单第二大题。

Step4. Production

1.let’s go to the zoo together,then see some special animals.(让学生了解更多动物的生活习性)

2.小阅读填空。Then guess what is it？（设计意图:结合本课的语法点一般现在时进行短文填空练习，并有趣味性让学生猜这是什么动物？）

3.小阅读，根据短文回答问题。（设计意图：通过阅读介绍袋鼠和考拉，这两种小动物学生在四年级学过，复习了旧知。）

Step5. Task completion

1..Play a guessing game: guess my favourite animal.(通过让学生提问猜我最喜欢的动物，增加了趣味性。)

2.I’ve got lots of animals cards, The leaders choose one card and your group talk about it.(设计意图：老师手里有许多的动物卡片，让每组的组长上来抽取卡片，小组合作描述这个动物。小组汇报，为后面的写作做好铺垫。)

2. Introduce your favourite animals in groups.

3. Writing. My Favourite Festival（奖励作文优秀学生）

4. look at some pictures,animals are our friends. We should love them and protect them.（情感教育，爱护动物。）

Step6. Summary and homework 1.

Summary: What have we reviewed today? T: We reviewed some animals. And we can describe our favourite animals.
