一、教材单元分析

1. 学生情况分析：

我班的学生们活泼好动，喜欢直观形象的事物，对游戏、竞赛、动画特别感兴趣，对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣，已有一定的英语学习基础，能够说出一些与日常生活密切相关的英文单词，朗朗上口的小儿歌，还能够说出一些简单的日常交际用语，会唱简单的英文歌曲。但他们对于西方的一些节日，如母亲节，父亲节，万圣节等比较陌生，所以对于西方文化的一种熏陶很有必要。

2. 教材情况分析：

本单元主要是围绕西方母亲节为主题，让学生了解有关母亲节的相关信息，学习有关母亲节的简单词汇：（carnation，letter，balloon等）和主要句型（Here's a ...for... Happy Mother's Day!)，通过挑选礼物并送给母亲,表达对母亲的祝福和爱。在整册教材中，这一单元比较独立，相关内容也比较少，有一定难度。

3. 单元目标分析：

1）了解母亲节的有关信息，学习并使用有关母亲节的词汇：carnation, letter, balloon, hug, kiss等。

2）学会用Here's a ...for...Happy Mother's Day!等句型，给母亲送礼物。

3）了解并挑选母亲节礼物的简单过程，有感情地朗读写给母亲节的信件。

4）以母亲节为文化背景，通过儿歌，歌曲表演等，使学生愉快地参与教学活动，感受西方文化。

5）通过挑选礼物和给母亲送礼物的表演，学生间进行语言交流，提高语言能力。

6）激发学生对母亲的感恩和爱并引导学生体验参与，相互协作。

4. 教学策略分析

结合本节课的教学内容，充分考虑到低年级学生的认知规律与能力，以学生为主体，以人为本，采用情境教学法、全身动作反应法等途径激励情趣，创造充满生命活力的英语课堂。

1）情境教学法

以母亲节为背景，运用媒介创设出真实的情景，激发学生的学习兴趣，引导学生参与其中，通过Rhyme, song, chant与学生进行情感交流，激励情趣，使学生愉快学习。

2）全身动作反应法

二年级的学生有很强的模仿能力，当老师有意识地将语言与动作相结合来教学时，他们很乐于接受，一方面做到了形象、直观，另一方面也能最大限度地调动全体学生参与其中。
