Step1. Warm up. 1. Quick response. 2. Play a game: Listen and guess.

T: Do you like listening to the music?

T: Yes, I like it too. Now let’s play a game about it. When you listen to the song , please tell me the season as soon as possible.

T: Well done. All of you did a goo job. (PPT 呈现四个季节)

T: What can you find among them? Or what are they about?

T: Yes, they are all about seasons. (学习

season)

T: As we all know, there’re seven days in a week. How many seasons are there in a year, do you know?

T: Yes, there’re four. Let’s look at the pictures. How beautiful! Step2. Presentation. 1. Learn about the seasons. a).T: Look at the picture, what can you see in it ?

T: Can you guess which season is it? Yes, it’s sping.（学习sping）

T: And I want to know what colour is spring? (green)

T; Yes, you are very smart. Many new things come out in spring. Most of them are green.

b).T: In this season, it isn’t hot, or cold, either. The farmers like this season. Which season is it?

T: Yes, it’s autumn. (学习

autumn) What colour is autumn? (yellow)

Yes, we can see many leaves turn to be yellow in this picture.

c).T: Listen! Can you guess which season is it? Yes, it’s summer. ( 学习

autumn) What’s the colour of summer? (red ) T: Yes, it’s red. It’s very hot. I think, but some girls like summer, because they can wear nice skirts.

d).T: it’s the last season of a year. Sometimes it snows, so we can make snowmen. Which season is it? (学习winter) What’s the colour of winter?(white)

T: Right, when it snows, everything turns to be white.

T: All of the four seasons are very beautiful, and they have different faces, because they have different weather. 2. Learn the weather of each season

T: So, what’s the weather like in spring?

Look at this boy. Is he cold? Or hot? No he’s very pleasant because it is warm. (学习warm)

T: In spring, it is warm. What about the other three seasons. What’s the weather like in the other three seasons? ( 根据图片学习hot cold cool)

Here “cool” means 凉爽的.We know it has another meaning is 酷的，漂亮的。We have learned about it last term. Do you remember?

Read the three sentences together.

3. Learn different activities. T: Yes, different season has different weather. But I like autumn best. Do you know why? Can you guess? (可以尝试用和中文说一说)

I like autumn best. Because it is cool and I can do many interesting things in autumn. T: I can…(学习have picnics, go climbing) Read the autumn part together. T: What about spring? What do we do in spring? Listen carefully and find the answer. Check the answer.(fly kites, go boating) Read the spring part together. T: In summer and winter, what can we do? Two people a pair to finish the fill. ( In summer, we eat ice creams and go boating; In winter, we make snowmen and go skating.) Read the summer and winter part together.
