Warm-up 1.

Greetings: Good morning, boys and girls. 2.

Free talk: T: What’s the weather like today?

S: It’s sunny.

T: What are you doing?

S: I’m reading a book. 3.

Review: 复习有关活动的短语。（fly a kite, go swimming, ride a bike, go skating）

Chant: fly a kite, fly a kite, I can fly a kite

Presentation 1.

出示一颗树的四季变化图片，并询问同学们

T：What can you see? S：A tree. T: What color is it? S: It’s pink, green, yellow, and white. T: Great. A tree has experienced the change of the year. Today we’re going to talk about four seasons. 教师教读season 并板书课题：Unit3 Seasons of a Year 2.

（1）Look at the picture. 教读spring并询问同学们：

How do you feel in spring?（warm, hot, cool, cold）

What can we do in spring? （fly a kite, play football, play basketball go swimming…）

引导同学们回答：It’s always warm. We can fly a kite. （2）出示图片，教读summer. T: Do you like summer? And why? S: Yes, I do/ No, I don’t. 教师引导同学们In summer, the weather is always hot. We can have ice-cream and go swimming.

出示图片，询问同学们

There are many food. Do you want it? Autumn is rich with fruit and grain. 板书并教读autumn（并注意纠正发音）并引导同学们说

I like autumn. It’s always cool. We can ride a bike. （4）

The last season is winter. 教读winter 。Winter brings snow. Everything is white. Look at the picture，the trees and grasses are white. Do you like it? 引导同学们说

I like winter. It’s always cold. We can go skating. 3. Show pictures, 让同学们根据图片说出相应地季节

4. 句型学习。T：There are four seasons in a year. What are they?

S：Spring, summer,autumn,winter.
