Unit 6 Enjoying Cycling Topic 2 How about exploring Tian’anmen Square?

Section A Ⅰ. Material analysis

本节课为该话题的第一节课，建议用1-2课时上完。主要活动为Section A 的1a和3。

while, when, before, after, as, until 和as soon as引导的时间状语从句是本话题的语法重点。在Section A 的1a，Michael 邀请Darren来北京度假，并请求Kangkang帮助制定北京的游览计划，谈论考查，学习时间状语从句，并在3中设置了造句练习来巩固时间状语从句的用法。

1. 谈论度假和旅游的话题。

Ⅳ. Teaching procedures Stage 1 Revision

Step1复习旅行准备的步骤

Step2向学生介绍听力的大意，学生听活动4的文本，完成3个多项选择题。

Stage 2 Pre-listening

Step1利用图片呈现生词. Step2 将学生的注意力转移到教材SectionA-1a的图片，预测图片中两人的关系和谈话内容。

Stage 3 While-listening

Step1 播放1a的听力，完成1b的练习

Step2 再次播放录音，完成1c练习

Step3 核对1c的答案，第三次播放录音，学生跟读，阅读，然后三人一组操练1a对话

Stage 5 Post-listening

Unit6. Topic2. Section A 1

Step1 独自从1a中找出表示建议、邀请的句子勾画出来，然后让学生将这些句子写到黑板上，以便全班观察。

Step2 引导学生思考在平时生活中，如何恰当的回应别人的邀请。

Stage 6 Assigning homework

Step1引导学生回忆本节课的知识点，让学生说出本节课的内容

Step2家庭作业

1）复习本课的生词和表达法

2）与同伴练习1a对话

3）预习Section A---2/3和Section B----1a/1b/1c Ⅴ. Teaching Reflection
