2.Teacher asks the students to think about the following questions: If someone is in trouble, what will you do? If someone needs money, what will you do? Then ask the students to answer them with the structure: I think I will…

3.Teacher teaches the new words by summing up the answers above:“Now I see,

help. Some students imagine that they can put on a play to raise money. You can try your best

to help others, I’m so proud of you!”

Step 2

Presentation 1.Teacher shows the pictures of Craig Kielburger to the students. Tell the story about

Craig Kielburger to students and lead to the new lesson 2.Let students listen to 1a and answer the following question:What will

Jane/Michael/Maria/Kangkang do? 3.Let students listen to 1a again and mark the sentences of 1b with T or F. Students

check the answers. 4.Ask the students to watch the flash. Try to follow the speed, paying attention to the

pronunciation and intonation .Match the information of 1c.Students check the

answers. Step 3

Consolidation 1.Students read the sentences of 1c aloud. 2.Teacher explains the usage of the object clauses briefly 3.Show the picture of the main points of 1a.Teacher check the results of previewing

Section A. Encourage students to keep on making a preview before class. Let students

check each other. 4.Students read 1a in role .practice the dialogue of 1a in a group of four. Act out the

conversation of 1a to the class. Step 4

Practice 1.Teacher lets the students read 1d, and then discuss what the food festival will be like with the help of the pictures and the example. Let them practice the usage of the object 第
