Unit 6 They are artists 教材分析：

本单元继续学习有关职业的话题。上一单元学习的是单数形式What’s his job? He’s a teacher。这一单元学习的是复数形式What are their jobs? They are artists.本单元继续学习有关职业的词汇，供学生学习做替换练习。Game time中游戏采用猜一猜的方式，由多人来扮演某人职业，再由其他人猜到底是什么职业。本单元的Listen, think and read是对5个元音字母的发音进行的总结归纳练习

学情分析：

四年级学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了较好的提高，喜欢直观形象思维，有着强烈的好奇心。对游戏、竞赛、特别感兴趣，他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识，喜欢在玩中学，喜欢在做中学，喜欢在想中学，喜欢在用中学。

课前思：

在上节课的学习中，学生已经掌握句型What’s his job? He’s a teacher .及关于职业的几个名词（teacher，driver

，doctor

，nurse

，pupil）根据四年级学生的年龄特点本课将采用活动课教学形式，通过游戏、吟唱、小组练习等形式来调动学生的积极性，让每个学生都能参与各种学习活动。

教学目标：

知识目标：

1、能听、说、认读单词：artist ，worker ，farmer ， policeman ，soldier . 2、会说会用句型：What are their jobs? 和回答: They are …

… .

能力目标：

1、能听说认读本单元学习的有关职业名词。

2、能掌握字母组合的发音规律。

3、能真确书写四线格中的句子。

情感目标：

喜欢开口说英语，乐于用英语与同学交流，促进同学。间相互了解并增进友谊。

教学重点：

1.掌握职业名词artist（artists）的复数形式，以及人称代词they的用法。

1.复习检测：听写上节课四会单词。

2.新课传授：This class we are going to learn Unit 6 They are artists . 3.巧妙导入：

T: Xiao Hui has a good friend. She’s Helen. Can you say something about Helen? Look at this picture，who are they ? They are Helen’s father and mother. In English, we also say father and mother are parents.

Let’s spell together. p-a-r-e-n-t-s.

Let’s write down. Then read this word one by one. Do you know what are their jobs?

Let’s listen together. 4.引出主题：

1.Listen then try to answer the main stence.
