1.教学目标：New York , Toronto ,Sydney,degree ,how about,rainy.

2．能力目标：

能在情景中恰当运用句型what’s the weather like in……? It’s…… Is it cold? Yes,it is/No,it isn’t. 3情感目标

在学习中了解中西方的风俗习惯。

二、 教学重难点：

读懂对话，能在真实语境中使用what’t the weather like in ……? It’s …… It it cold? Yes,it is/ No,it isn’t.

教学过程

Step1. Warm-up Greeting 师生自由交谈(Free talk in pairs) let’s chant

Step2.Presentation and practice 1 What’s the weather like in New York? It’s rainy. How about Bei jing?呈现和操练。

(1) 教师请学生观察主情景中的莫斯科自问自答：What is it ? It’s Moscow .教师进一步提问：What’s the weather like in Moscow ? 引导学生回答：It’s cold . 然后依次询问London ,Sydney 的天气，复习描述天气的形容词。

（2）教师拿出中国城市的几张图片，引导学生用句型what’t the weather like in ……?向教师提问，教师回答：It’s cold……/ It’s warm in ……/ It’s hot in ……/ It’s cool in…… (3)出示下雨的图片提问：What’s the weather like in New York？It’s rainy .教师板书单词rainy并教学生读。

（4）教师总结询问天气情况What’s the weather like in……？同时

根据语气教学

Hou about……? 2.Is it cold? No,it isn’t. What’s the weather like in New York? It’t ……degree的呈现和操练。

（1）教师出示哈尔滨冬天的图片，说：It’s cold in Harbin.然后呈现北京的温度（26℃）提问：Is it cold in Bei Jing?引导学生回答：No,it isn’t. It’s warm in Bei Jing .最后引出It’s warm in Bei Jing. 最后引出

It’s 26 degrees. 教师板书、教学degree. (2)学生用It’s……in…… It’s……degrees描述25页的四个城市的天气。

3.朗读Let’s talk （1）教师带学生朗读

Step3. Extension and cosonlidation 分组练习Let’s play 用上句型
