教学目标

1.知识与技能目标：

1）使学生能听懂、会说、会读、会写temperature，degrees，high , low, zero, inside, outside等单词。

2）学生能认读、理解并运用下列问句：

How’s the weather today?/What is the temperature? It’s_____ degrees. What was the temperature on Monday? It was___degrees.并在真实的语境中灵活运用,对数字的进一步巩固和复习。

2.情感态度目标: （1）培养学生观察和思维能力，提高学生对事物的探究兴趣，激发学生的学习兴趣。（2）感知温度的变化，培养学生的合作精神，增强语言运用能力，教育学生要保护环境。

二.重点: 1.掌握重点词汇：

temperature degrees inside outside high low 并熟练运用

what’s the temperature? It’s _____degrees.”描述温度和运用what’s the temperature of the water? It’s _____degrees. 2.正确使用温度计并能对某一天的气温图表进行描述。

三.难点: （1）能熟练运用温度计并正确表达度数。

（2）学生感知温度的变化,能够通过图表对过去某一天的最高，最低气温进行问答或描述。

（3）能够简单描述不同城市的天气状况。

四.教学方法

讲授法、演示法、任务型教学法等。

课时安排：1课时

五.教学过程

Step1: Warming up: 1、Greetings T: good morning boys and girls! Are you excited today? S: Yes, I am . Step2.Presentation : 1)Put a real thermometer into a glass of cold water ,and ask some students to read the number . Then put it into a glass of hot water and do the same. Then tell the students : “The water is cold/hot. What’s the temperature of the water? What’s the temperature outside/inside?

It’s degrees.”（用一个小实验来导入新课，为了激发学生的好奇心和学习的积极性。）

2)Show pictures learn a new word：science，(导入课题) Step3: Review : 1. Revise some words about weather: sunny, rainy,

windy,cloudy and snowy with some pictures. 2.According to the pictures ask the students : “How is the weather? Is it (words about weather)? ”

and help them to answer “ It’s . Yes / No , it is .”

3. Show pictures learn new words :temperature，degrees，high , low, zero, inside, outside.（运用演示法，对比法来加深学生的记忆）

4.learn setences : what’s the temperature of the water?

Step 4.Listen and answer these questions: 1.page 24 ,part1. Play the tape for the students listen and answer the following questions : 1. How’s the weather today? 2. What’s the temperature outside? 3.What’s the temperature inside? 4. What’s the temperature of the hot water? (Help the students answer the questions. Then check the answers.) 2.Reading :

page 24 ,part1. Play the tape for the students listen and repeat. Then ask them to read part1 together. 3.show pictures to learn new words :high，low。(运用游戏形式为激发学生的学习兴趣) 5)Task 1 :Pair work Make a chart Look and talk: page 25 ,part2. Help the students look at the chart. Then help them work in small groups to practice like this: 1. What was the high temperature on Monday/ Tuesday...in your city ? It was degrees. 2.What was the low temperature on Monday/ Tuesday...in your city ? It was degrees. Task 2 :Read and write: page 25 ,part2. Help the students read the four pictures and fill in blanks. Then check the answers. Task 3

Be a weather reporter Choose a favourite city to be a weather forecaster.(让学生在音乐的伴随下结合实际扮演天气预报员来感受生活）

What was the high /low temperature ? It was degrees. Teaching evaluation: In order to foster the students’interest of English learning, teaching evaluation is much more important. For my lesson , I would like to help them to take a competition among the small groups.During the competition some encouraging words

are necessary.With the process of the class I would use words,body postures,actions or facial expressions to encourage my pupils to stimulate their interest and enthusiasm of English learning .During the class we should always prize the students and try not to criticize them.
