第一课时教学设计

一、学情分析:

经过前面一、二单元的学习,学生已经基本掌握了“What is/are…going to do…?”句型,并能够在不同的人称中转换。然而,由于本单元是一个新的话题,牵涉到更多动词以及动词词组,因此对学生来说有一定的难度。

五年级的学生性格活泼,好动爱玩,好胜心强。因此,要用多种形式的活动来调动他们学习的积极性,让他们在轻松的氛围中学习英语。

二、教材分析

本节课所选的教学内容是开心学英语五年级下册Unit 3 On Vacation!的第一课时。本单元教学围绕在假期里打算做什么这一话题展开。本课时要求学生能掌握Target的6个短语:read books ,take photos,play with friends, visit relatives, have a picnic, surf the Internet及What are you going to do on vacation? I’m going to ...等句型,并能交流打算如何度过假日。由于学生已有了前面第二单元的知识铺垫,有利于本课知识点的深入与拓展,既体现了教材循序渐进、由难到易的编排意图,又符合学生的知识水平和认知水平。在教学中,本课采用旧话题引入教新句型,再用句型教授新词组的教学策略,这样既让学生掌握知识,也体现了教学内容之间的衔接性。教学的重点是让学生掌握词组及句型,难点为运用句型进行交流,还注重学生运用一般将来时的能力教学。

三、教学目标与要求

1、[语言知识] 学生掌握6个短语read books ,take photos,play with friends,

visit relatives, have a picnic, surf the Internet及What are you going to do during the vacation? I’m going to ...等句型,听懂会说句子What are you going to do during the vacation? I’m going to ....并能在情境中运用。

2、[语言技能] 培养学生运用英语的能力,并通过一系列活动充分调动学生的积极性,培养他们的观察能力和想象能力。

3、[情感态度] 通过活动、游戏使学生产生学习英语的兴趣;让学生敢于、乐于开口,积极参与交流,并让学生在学习的过程中,培养他们的合作意识和竞争意识。

4、[学习策略] 通过创设情境、做游戏、比赛和小组合作等形式培养学生的英语思维。

四、教学策略

1.教学方法

(1) 运用游戏教学法,激发学生的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛。

(2) 运用情境教学法,为学生的学习营造真实的语言环境。

(3) 活动教学法。根据教学目标和教学内容,开展各种活动,让学生在活动中操练、巩固、运用。

2.采用PPT,卡片等,在教学过程中,教学媒体能起到很好的辅助作用,从而帮助学生有效地学习。

3.课前准备的材料:多媒体课件、录音机、磁带、小奖品若干、单词图片、游戏转盘。

五、教具:词卡、图片、PPT课件、录音带等。

六、教学过程:

Step 1: Warming up

1. Greetings.

2. Revision

a. Revise the old words : Play a game

b. Look, ask and answer.

Step 2: Presentation

Use the pictures and the sentences to teach the new phrases:

(1)Lead in :Free talk.

T:Boys and girls, May Day is coming. What am I going to do during the vacation?

Do you want to know? Ss: Yes, I do.

Then show to watch the short film. It’s the teacher’s plan for May Day.

Ask students to try to remember the plan and talk about it.

(2)Use the plan to teach the new phrases and drills: read books ,take photos,play with friends, visit relatives, have a picnic, surf the Internet(借助实物图片和动作等方式引出本课新词组的学习)

Read the new phrases in many ways:

a. Read the new phrases group by group or one by one.

b. Read and spell them in pairs.

c. Play the word game: Look, read and stand up quickly.

Step3: Practice

1. Ask and answer.

2. Using the book: Listen and repeat P29Target

3. Talk in pairs.

4. Do a survey.

5. Sing a song.

Step4: Extension, Consolidation

Let’s write:1. Lead the students write a vacation plan.

2.Group work: Discuss and write a vacation plan in group.
