教学目标:

教学过程: 一、导入

T: Welcome to our classroom.

Sing a song: This is the way I wash my clothes. ( read a book, play basketball, sing a song, draw a picture)

(设计意图:练习短语,为后面学生能与新单词结合表达句子做铺垫.)

T: This unit we will learn about the school. What’s in the school? (Show the pictures of the school.) 二、新课讲授

Show a picture of our school.

T: What’s this?

Ss: School.

T: This is our school. It’s great! (show PPT) T: Let’s spell it. S-C-H-O-O-L, school. We like our school. It’s small. But it’s clean. It’s great.

T: We can read a book here. Look! Library. (show PPT)

T: What can we do in the library? Ss: We can read a book in the library.

T: Where can we play basketball? Ss: Playground. Yes, we play basketball on the playground. We play games on the playground.

Then teach computer room, classroom,libtary like above. (设计意图:在讲授中使用本学校的图片可以让学生的学习更贴近所学内容,从而把学习内容和学校紧密联系起来。有利于学生理解和记忆新学内容。)

三、课堂练习

Drill

Show pictures quickly to practice the words : library playground

(设计意图:

巩固所学新单词,让学生能熟练使用这些新的单词。)

2.

Where is the computer room?

Ask the students to look at part2 on page 35. Jenny is lost. She wants to go to the computer room. What can she do? Play the audiotape for this part and follow the book. 3.

Role Play

Ask a volunteer to come forward. Take a few minutes to practice and show the question/answer sequence while the other students watch and listen. 4.
